I remember when i was sitting up in the early hours of the morning, watching Joe Calzaghe vs Roy Jones Junior. By round 6 i came to a decision that i was no longer watching boxing match, i was watching a grown man the former Undisputed Super Middle Champion of the world and current ring magazine light heavyweight champion Joe Calzaghe. Not just beat up, but bully Roy Jones Junior a all time great, if not the greatest fighter of his generation. It was a bullying that i saw that night, bullying of the highest standard. I was one of those people in school that never entertained them blue bully bands..................at the time of the Roy Jones fight. I was in disgust what i was seeing, when Joe Calzaghe was walking over to Roy Jones Juniors corner and bullying him in-between rounds, but now i look back and i laugh.

I have watched Joe Calzaghe over the years, and of late he has come out of his shell and more of his personality and opinions are coming out into the open. Which has turned afew people off him, but you must respect the man. The man has beaten every man who has ever stepped in the ring with him, end of. It is payback......

And i want Carl Froch to be Bullied, and ruined for life.

    A Bully Victims Payback...!

I totally agree with everything Joe Calzaghe says, and i like the New Joe Calzaghe.

He is definately more opinionated nowadays but funny.....Calzaghe??? Noooooooo :nono
He is/was a great fighter but he has zero charisma.

He does deserve credit for being a role model for the kids though :good

Calzaghe was indeed bullied at school, that kind of thing can affect a person for a long long time.

Calzaghe is indeed a role model for kids growing up these days.

if anyone who read his book it appears to be quite bad bullying he had no freinds at school and everybody called him names, and one day about 30 kids cam to his house to fight him but enzo took the ring leader and joe for a walk and told them to not fight

Enzo shot the kid in the back of the head.

Then him and Joe dragged the body over to Flint's house. Flint made some calls, getting Enzo Mac, Colin Jones, Fat Joe and some random old bloke he had been talking to in Tesco's the day before (near the pic n' mix section) to come around to the house. Flint explained what had happened, they all agreed the wee ****er had asked for it, shook hands like men and then wrapped the body up in a carpet and buried it behind the famous shed at the bottom of Flint's garden. They all took an oath never to reveal what had happened that night, but Flint got drunk on a couple of bottles of domestos and posted it as a thread on the General Forum just before Xmas; so now we all know.

They became secret gay friends and both married women to hide the relationship. JC's secret partner is of course the lead singer of the Manic Street Preachers - James Dean Bradfield. :deal

    Abit...

I think it did affect him in later life and his boxing career. I think it was Frank Warren who said, Joe Calzaghe would never go on Tv shows..or do very little commercial stuff.

Social Anxiety...Plus he was stubborn aswell.
