You mean lower body fat or more muscle?

Being overweight I guess you want to lose fat. One tip: you cannot lose weight and gain muscle at the same time so really all you have to do is eat less calories than you burn. Aim for about 500 less then normal. It would help to know your height, weight, age ect.

it also depends on genetics and how much access skin you have on your body if you put a lot of weight on. all these are factors that go into deciding if you get ripped or not.

as far as how long it takes that depends on how hard you work and how dedicated you are. it wont happen over night. aim to lose 1-2 pounds a week. anymore than that is either not healthy or will just come back once you hit a moment of "idleness" or a moment when you are not working out for about a month or a couple of weeks or so.

You can safely lose 1-2 lbs of FAT per week. Anything more than that and it's muscle.

So, if you go from 30 lb overweight to RIPPED, it's gonna be at least 15 weeks.

If you haven't worked out in awhile, you will gain muscle and lose fat at first, and will probably gain weight.

Depends whether you do it manually with a knife, a combine, or some other large commercial cutting machine.

And even if you cut calories, make sure the calories you're getting are the right ones. 300 calories worth of chocolate is quite different then 300 calories worth of vegetable.

Yes. The healthier you eat the better it will be in the long run. This is common knowledge however.

I never tried that but i have heard that it really doesnt help and messes up your metabolism and will take even longer to lose weight. Or it will come back on pretty fast.

Something like that. I haven't done any research on that ****, because frankly, I don't need it. As an athlete I know for a fact that blood, sweat, and tears are the ONLY way to get anywhere. A pill will never be able to replace that plain and simple.
