haha, are you kidding me? This was the most fixed fight I've ever seen. Mosley isn't even the puncher Cotto is, and he KO's margarito like that?! Marg never threw over like 60 punches any round...Mosley holds him...Marg just stood there. That wasn't the same guy who ate POWER PUNCHES from Cotto, and kept coming forward exchanging shots. I thought it was fixed when he KO's Mayorga something that looked like the last shot in the NBA Finals. HE does this...and that helps prove that fact IMO.
And so the denial begins when one's hero is destroyed. I noticed IMMEDIATELY a big difference between Cotto and Mosely. Mosley fought ALOT smarter: 1. Went to the body 2. Circled Margarito instead of backing straight back like Cotto, allowing for Margarito's counter punching 3. Tied / clinched Margarito preventing him from gaining any kind of momentum It was a systematic destruction by one of the sport's best fighter.
I sure am in denial...Denial that it was a legit fight. Mayorga outboxes Mosley in his last fight. Margarito EATS Cotto's best shots, and runs right through them in his last fight. Unless shane beat up father time in the meantime, and Father time slapped the **** out of Margarito..I don't believe the fight a bit.
I agree Mosley fought better. He went to the body, he clinched, and he circled. If it would have went to a decision I might believe it. A KO I don't really believe. The guy actually backed up against Mosley, and didn't work at all.
