What's this on the general forum about Margarito having illegal hand wraps? Didn't matter in the end but still.

 

Absolutely amazing perfomance.
The jab was unreal, set up those wicked right hands.
But Mosley's bodyshots also did a hell of a lot to take away Margarito's strength..Shane roughed him up too.
Every department Mosley was great in, no way did i think he could roll back the years like that.

 

Never mind the general forum mongs they probably think Mosley had an illegal cup.

Margarito had plaster of Paris on pads inside his wraps, apparently so that when he'd sweat it would harden.
They were removed and it's going to be investigated.

 

Guys I was in Nigeria and watched it live on satellite TV. As per my previous posts on this topic cannot say I was surprised at all. Skill wise there is no comparison and even Margarito and his team thought they could overpower Mosley then dream on. I have never seen anything in Mosley that tells me he can be knocked out. If Vernon Forrest could not stop him in their 1st fight what chance did the limited brawler Margarito who people were thinking was superman have just because he beat Cotto in a fight he should never have won. I have said this before imagine what PBF would have done to Margarito. Margarito is fiction of both he and Bob Arum's imagination. Yeah he is so tough that he cannot be knocked out is he. If Cotto had not neglected the body like Shane did not you would have got the same result. Great boxing performance Sugar Shae Mosley.

lol.... He did look on something though didn't he? He was ripped to the max and i've not seen his stamina holdout so well since De La Hoya 1.... So impressive though... you gotta love mosley seems a real goodguy.

Definately, Shane legacy took a steep incline last night... Think he's got too many L's and controversial W's to be a true ATG but he is a pretty tremendous second tier guy. If he were to beat Cotto in a rematch, which he could do I think he would be held in higher esteem. A fight with Pacman too would be very interesting.

About as surprising a result as I can remember. What a performance. Roughed him up. Super sharp rights. That nasty left hook where he really plants his feet (like the finisher v Mayorga). Distance, timing outstanding. Wow. I had Mosley points at 6-1 but when you see a fight as exciting as that who cares about losing out on a bit of cash?
