Shanes big win against Margarito raises my respect for this man. Margarito is (or was) the most dangerous man at 147 LB's and Shane stepped up and, well, squashed him. This speaks volume about him and also shows that he is no doubt the man at 147 LB's.

With that being said, It would look as if a fight with Floyd Mayweather would be the juiciest fight out there right now. The money would be big, the fight would be entertaining, the hype would be tremendous ,and lets be real many of us have wanted this fight for a few years now!

If shane can get a fight with Floyd and he beats him, Where would shane rank in ATG list?

I already have Mosley at #2 All time at 135,
As a fighter I would rank him in the top 40 of atg fighters

2 wins over De La hoya
    2 over Vargas
    1 over Mayorga
    1 over Mayweather
should have been win against Cotto
plus any other big name wins he gets before he retires such as (Hatton, pac, williams, another cotto fight)

thats one hell of a resume at multiple weight classes

Like I stated in the other thread Mayweather is generally a little bit overrated and is if at all a boderline ATG.

If Mosley werer to beat him, he would certainly rank above the likes of DH, Trindidad. He would get in the region Hopkins and RJJ rank.

A bigger question would be if he does beat Floyd and rematches Cotto and loses...

What does that do for Cotto? :think

That would just **** everything up :nut::)-(

I had Mosley up by 2 points in the Cotto fight.

We can't count that as a Mosley win though because it was very close and no robbery at all.

We can count that as another great Molsey performance though.

He'll always have that drug issue clouding any justifiable position he may achieve...

Mosley was unstoppable and in his prime at lightweight, who should be ranked ahead of him?

Floyd did nothing at lightweight.. he had 2 close bouts with Jose Luis Castillo and that's about it..

i'd have him top 50 ATG, and top 10 as a lightweight. if he did beat floyd, i'd put him top 20 ATG. he'd be one of those rare cases where he actually won his most memorable fights toward the end of his career than when he was in his prime. similiar to Hopkins
