As has already been clarified several times in this thread. What Tito did was have too much tape in relation to wrap and gauze. Back when the **** hit the fan about the situation the vast majority of people actually IN BOXING came out and said how little difference they think the wraps made and basically cast it aside as a minor infraction. With Margarito we are talking about ****ing PLASTER. There's a world of difference.
sorry, but Tito used gauze and tape...which is not illegal in most states. Margo used a plastic object of some sort...that **** is blatant.
No Cintron sucks and Margo does through some pretty good punches plaster or not. Also I should tell you guys its not like he was hitting him with a full hardened cast. Cause that would reaquire a lot of plaster and would shurely get busted. Also it would take more time then Margo had to fully harden. But it would have a serious effect. But don't think of it like he was hitting guys with casts on his hands cause that would be pretty dam hard to pull off.
I hear it was plaster of paris the same kind of stuff Luiz Reso or whatever his name was used. Scumbag move say what you will about Mosley but he didnt use something basically intended to kill someone or try to.
Until it fully hardens having POP on your hands would never affect your hands negatively. If anything it would protect them. Especially as it wouldn't be fully hardened and would have a decent amount of give in it durring the fight. It would be like having a dense hard surface to focus your power and at the sametime insulate your hands from damage. **** it. It probably helped him through 100 punches per round.
Oh My ****. If this is true Margo is a cheating **** who deserved what he got yesterday. That's ****ing unforgivable.
his fans should abandon him, and more then that, boxing should bann him, he doesn't deserve to step in the ring again and make millions of dollars win or lose
If they find out that it's legitimately plaster then he should be suspended for at least a year. If they find out he's been doing it for much longer then drop the ban hammer on 'em.
Maybe would explain why Margarito has been a slow starter in fight's and does most of his damage in the last six round's.
Even if they found concrete the worst he can get is a slap on the wrist because it was discovered before he entered the ring.
