It's kind of hypocrite to celebrate Mosley for beating Margarito, while Mosley has been known to be involved in steroid use, the BACLO thing and all that. Two wrongs don't make a right.

What Margo did what worse only because it endangers your opponent in a very real (remember Cotto's face) way that is threatening to their health.

I agree it's worse, but cheating is cheating.

To comapareShane's roid use to Margo is foolish. Shane took a lie to detector test and passed it. Also, he only used roids once and he looked like **** in that fight. Margo on the other hand got caught red handed before a huge fight. This happened yesterday not in 03 like with Mosley.

It's simply a case of the lesser of two evils in my view, but you're right- techinically, they're both cheaters.

Steroids just as bad as alleged illegal handwraps, both endanger opponents life.

Hard to say whether Margarito unknowingly prepared his gloves with the illegal inserts. I think we can say Shane unknowingly took roids.

Steroids offer no benefit to boxers, we have already went over this. The only great drug for boxers is EPO and that is not a steroid. As for taking EPO, Shane has admitted that he did take it but that he did not know it was an illegal drug. He passed an FBI lie detector test, and the trainer who was suing him for defamation of character has had his suit dismissed, not only that but he has sued Conte for defamation of character and Conte has yet to discredit Shane's character the way McNAmee discredited Clemens.

That being said, taking EPO or hormones in no way is a bad as putting plaster in your gloves, simply because one form of cheating actually threatens another person's LIFE, not just the results of the competition.

adding plaster to your hands and punching people with that hard shell inside your gloves ; I believe is much , much worse than steroid usage.

From what we've seen with Fernando Vargas - He had an illegal substance in his system fighting De La Hoya - AND GOT DESTROYED

James Toney fighting Ruiz under the same circumstances did no serious harm or damage to Ruiz in that fight. steroids are illegal but that doesnt instantly translate into hurting the other guy.

Puttin plaster in your gloves is directly hurting your oppenent and potentially ruining a nother fighters' career.
