I can't get my head around the fact that it seems so damn likely Margarito may have used bricks in his gloves all along. The stuff is supposed to harden as the fight goes on and he always came on strong later on. Clottey got a busted hand-high guard, Cintron scared to get hit and dropped badly by a body shot that didn't look extremely hard, Cotto doesn't seem hurt till around the ninth, Paul Williams making him look silly for six rounds then all the sudden starts having a bit of a problem, and something about last night that I really noticed is how determined Shane looked before the bell and how out of it Margarito looked. He didn't look as confident.
Could he have been worrying "oh ****, what am I gonna do without concrete gloves and what if they find out I used them before" or something to that affect. I don't know but the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I have no idea if he did use them before of course but the more I run it through my head the more possible it seems. It's seem very strange to me.
If it's true I still want Cotto to fight him because he won't be able to pull that crap again cause everyone knows now and I feel Miguel would seriously punish him for it, then I want to see 2 true champions fight, Mosley v Cotto.

5 to 1 so far that he probably did. Good, it's just not me that's got a funny feeling about this.

At first I was noticing Shane's face, and mentioned to my wife, but I couldn't figure out if he looked worried, tired, or what. Now I think he had the look of a man that just found out his opponent was preparing to cheat on him with potentially lethal substances, and he was going to deal with that mother ****er.

The guy should be banned and the majority of his fight should be made into No Contests and make an example of him for others to see that this typeof behavior will never be tolerated...Let him go hang with Panama Lewis

In all of Cotto's fights, including the great Sugar Shane, he'd shown little likeness to swelling and busting up. Against Judah he had that cut in his mouth, bled like a mo'fo' there but nothing like what he looked like after the second half of the Margo fight.

Margarito probably started using these wraps after the Williams fight realising his power wasn't good enough to stop world class fighters.I assume he wanted every advantage against the much heralded Cotto who he knew he couldn't outbox, but doctored wraps would increase his chances of stopping Cotto.

I think Margo has been using plaster since he stepped up in class, probably for the Santos fight and beyond. Cheaters usually don't get caught the first time, the thing with him is it is impossible to guess when he started so all his fights are in question.

Personally every fight were he "broke down a fighter in the later rounds" are a case of a fight where he had plaster. Just think of the lives he could have destroyed.

I wonder about Williams taking those body shots from Margo and caving in, in the later rounds, when in the first rounds they didn't even bother him. How about Cintron and Cotto flinching before punches even got to them because they knew it would be too much pain.

Seriously we all know **** before last night.

No telling if he has before or not. A lie detector is the only way to get some sort of idea about the past.

I hope Cotto gets the rematch and kills him in the ring.

Of course he's been using them. He damn near tore off Lujan's ear off. Clottey hands fukced up. Made Cintron cry in the ring. Busted up Cotto's face like nothing forcing him to retire. The guy has been loading his gloves for long time. I suspect after he knew he couldn't compete with the top fighters he decided to cheat.

Use logic here, why would he cheat against a 37 year old Mosley, who everyone knows is past his best, and not cheat against a fighter in his prime, who had just edged out Shane?

I would bet my left nut that he cheated against Cotto, and am pretty darn sure he did it against Cintron, Clottey, and Williams too. I also think the possibility is higher than 50 percent that he did this for other fights too.

I don't care about Cotto's undefeated record being reinstated, I care that years could have been taken off of a human's life, from the beating Cotto took illegally. The man has children, and I know boxers take this risk when they choose the profession, but I guarantee you they would not be willing to fight a man who has loaded gloves, no matter how much they stand to make.

On top of all that, as a boxing fan I am bummed out. This is a sport I love, and this is another black eye to it, one that can turn people away. Just another reason why MMA is starting to take over popularity, as far as combat sports go. UFC doesn't have the politics, the best fight the best, and this behind the scenes crap doesn't happen either.
