If it's proven to be true then I agree, ban Margo & his team for life. There's no room in the great sport of boxing for this selfish cheating bull****. Cotto may never be the same fighter & there's a fair chance that's the reason he lost...............
Plenty of posters here have brought up Shane's past steriod use. Don't try to equate that with loading gloves...........2 different animals altogether.
Quite an important word... I'll wait to hear what the Commission comes back with but if he was doing something illegal by loading his gloves in some way, then he should be banned.
the states athletic commissions need to ban him b/c the boxing orgs won't. They are way too greedy. Take his boxing licenses until the investigations are complete.

And died one year later from a car accident. He died broke, depressed and with alcohol issues. Lewis and Resto were suspended for life. Fast forward 26 yrs. Margarito(and his corner, all of them) tries basically the same thing. Only he gets caught by the boxing savvy Nasim Richardson. He and his lowlife corner, had bad,illegal, life-threatening intentions. To basically use blocks of concrete(equivalent of plaster of paris) to bludgeon Mosely. It absolutlely brings into question his `victory` over Cotto. A promising young very talented fighter, was pummeled into a horrific, career altering beating. It is the same as bringing a tire iron into the ring, and hitting your opponent with it. There should be a lengthy suspension, for Margs and his whole corner. This as an opportunity for the comission to act swiftly and powerfully,and restore some integrity to the sport. How long has he been up to this? How long have his opponents been dealing with his illegal tactics? He is not, nor was he ever, a champ on the level of Mosely. Lets call this for what it is. Mosely walked through Margs weak attempts to hurt him . He soundly outboxed him at every turn, befuddled him with speed. Laughed off Margs supposed power shots and then administered his own. He was physically stronger, had a smarter corner, and had a great game plan. This was a fight for the ages...
**** off. Cotto got his ass kicked. Yes -- he quit, Wraps are meant to protect the hands and not the face. There are several different ways to wrap hands. Some of them in accordance with California rules / some not. Furthermore --- prior to each title fight hands are wrapped and witnessed. Prior to the Cott fight, officials had not problem with Margo;s hands. So --- go suck a dick.
I wouldn't call Margarito a cheater remeber there was a rumour Margarito had hurt one of his hands in training prior to the fight, mabey this was the reason.
You're an idiot if you don't think steroids would help a fighter. Mosley's an admitted juicer. Doesn't make trying to plaster your hands right, however.
