Steroids can offer plenty of benefits to boxers, increased power, increased resistance, increased stamina, very dangerous for the opponent.

 

Shane nearly ruined his own career with that terrible performance against Oscar. That was the only fight in which he used them.

 

Steroids build muscle mass which might give you more power, but it usually is going to decrease your speed, because of the additional mass, Shane has not lost his speed. Steroids don't increase your punch resistance, they don't increases your stamina, and they are not dangerous to the opponent, that is BS.

HOw did Shane ruin anyone's career? The worse Shane could do to someone while he was on EPO was give them a loss. MArgarito's cheating could end a life, destroy a career, deminish a person's quality of life.

Who cheated last night, Margarito or Mosley? Margarito got busted for illegal hand wraps, Mosley did not. Both Margarito and Mosley took a drug test before and after the fight. Assuming the results of the drug test come back negative, MARGARITO IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CHEATED. Shane won fair and square. :hi:

Mosely is a different story. We all know he was ROIDED up through BALCO labs designer steroids, but steroids to me are not as bad of a cheat as loaded gloves, and Mosely was a top fighter. I think Mosley makes the boxing hall of fame, but he should have an * next to his name with a BALCO link
