They both came from LA and primed in the 1990's mosley went 3-0 against the Golden Boy. From the amateurs Shane Mosley handed De La Hoya one of his very few defeats.

They also met in the pros with Mosley winning the first in a SD.

The second fight however went to Mosley again in a very close UD although after watching the fight again I believe Oscar deserved the nod in their second fight.

What were your thoughts on the fights.

DLH was the better amateur I'd say.... Mosley the better pro.

In the pros they are 1-1, a close but clear win each, regardless of the cards.

Nobody cares about their 154 match. I think Oscar deserved the nod, but who cares. Shane won the when booth were at the very best, and he won clearly. It's like SRL and Hearns.
    Mosley > DLH

Also I read in an interview Mosley admitted using steriods for the second fight with Oscar but Mosley said they were permitted legal.

They should be 1-1 (with +1 amatuer win to Mosley).

Mosley is a fraud and a cheat tho, so for all I care DLH is 100x the man he is.

I had Mosley winning both pro fights 115-113. I haven't seen their amateur fight.

    :huh

I would have said both fights were clearer......

One for Shane, the other for Oscar. In fact, any more one-sided and they wouldn't be far from schoolings.

Amateurs: Oscar De La Hoya 13 years old Shane Mosley 15 years old 0-1 Mosley

Professional: Shane Mosley 2-0, it should be noted that most believe Oscar De La Hoya clearly won the rematch. And more importanatly Shane was under the influence of steroids, an obvious unfair advantage which is illegal, and Shane can still face possible consequences when all is said and done.
