Anyone find it hard to watch and feel it should've been stopped earlier?

I was in awe of Mosley and it was one of the most exciting performances I have ever seen, I cheered for Mosley when he went down but there was parts from around round 6 onwards where I worried for Margarito's safety. He took a lot of very heavy shots to the head thanks to that solid chin and I feel his corner maybe should've pulled him out after the 8th or that the ref should stop it, at least a few punches before the final knock down when he fell back against the ropes. He was given a champions chance alright...

I felt it should of been stopped between rounds or at least with the first clean punch Mosley landed in the beginning of the 9th, you knew what was coming but the ref took a bit too long and Margo got hit more and went down a 2nd time as the ref stopped it.

I will never watch the fight again, it disturbed me, and I think it should have been stopped before the start of round 9. Margarito was done.

Because Margarito attempted to load his gloves I enjoyed every minute of it and I hope it happens to him again. He should be banned from Boxing for life.

Perhaps you should wait til the wraps have been tested on Monday before assuming it's fact.

To original thread Q I think it should have been stopped after the 8th round. His corner asked him about continuing but i'm sure they knew what his answer would be, they should have stopped it I think.

I understand how you'd feel that way. I noticed one of your posts saying you were a big Margarito fan also. I have watched it twice and the end 3 times but even after it I was hoping he'd be ok. And still am, that's got to leave long lasting damage.

I actually think it went on as long as it did because it was Margarito, I think the idea that he has an inhumane ability to sustain punishment colours the fight in such a way that the ref definitely didn't want to stop the fight too soon.

I watched it again on the Setanta repeat, the video was posted on here. Inbetween rounds 8 and 9 his trainer just seemed focused on sending him back out, to my disgust. At least they threw the towel in, in the end and they warned him that they would stop it if they didn't see more coming back from him and they asked him if he wanted to continue but they should've had the balls to just pull him out there and then.

if some of you guys where refs there would never be great comebacks in boxing.
