Norris and Trinidad were due to fight in late 96 or early 97. I'm pretty sure they held a press conference for the fight. I'm sure it was at 154lbs or possibly a catch weight. It's a shame it fell through, as it would have been a tremendous fight.
Trinidad does not hit like Julian Jackson, but if he catches Norris the fight would be over. I think that Norris' speed and movement would be enough to tame Trinidad. Norris is not as big a puncher as Trinidad, but he is not slouch in this department. Norris hits harder for a supermiddleweight than either Hopkins or Wright do for middleweights. If that last sentence doesn't make any sense to you I understand. Anyway... I'll give Trinidad the benefit of the doubt on going the distance, and say he loses a UD. Norris wouldn't surprise me if he finished him though.
Tito stops him 6 or 7 times out of 10, with Terry outpointing him the other times..Norris could win and was the more skilled boxer. I want to give a shout to his skill level by saying he would definitely win some fights if they fought 10 times, I do feel however his chin probably betrays him against a guy the quality of Tito more times then it doesnt.
I agree with WhataRock. If they were to fight that many times, Norris wins some, but more often than not Tito stops him along the way. Trinidad is a skilled enough punch-picker and very accurate. He'd catch Norris, hurt him, and finish him.
i feel this to. im not sure it woudl happen but lets not lie norris had speed power and timing. im def certain he could drop tito and woble him with a right cross-left uppercut combo. but if anybody is getting sparked it is norris. but trinidad i think could be stopped on his feet if the fight took place in 97 it was a faded norris when rupa was able to outpunch him, he seemed to slow and lokign for the one punch but an dearlier combination puncher with that nice bouncing swayign motion wouild prolly get undertrinidads skin. norris ud
norris UD he'd have discouraged tito from gaining any kind of momentum in the later rounds, tito never faced any 1 with the kind of hand speed norris possesed. norris was huge at 154
