    ......and NOT DeLaHoya.

Although the DLH fight was made at 147, for some strange reason never explained Oscar actually weighed 145(!!) come the time of the actual fight. Although Hatton will weigh in at 140, come fight time he'll be around 154, a full NINE pounds heavier than Oscar was.

This for me is very important in assessing the potential outcome. Before the DLH fight Pacman had only had ONE fight at 135 previously competing at 130. Brilliant as he is, I feel the gap in size will prove too much for Pacman, especially when one takes into account just how strong Hatton is at the weight.

I'm pretty confident of a Hatton win, probably by late stoppage

I wouldn't mind either guy winning and can see reasons why both would.

I think Hatton will get caught coming in, don't think Pac will have the chance to knock him out, Hatton will be stopped on cuts somewhere around the 5th/6th round.

Won't be entirely shocked if Hatton lands a heavy punch on Pac which has him on the defensive, goes back to his mauling style and stops Pac.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a total letdown and Pac keeps Hatton on the end of jabs all night, boxing his way to a easy UD.

Basically, although there are apparently class disrepencies between the two, the many variables make this a genuine 50/50 fight.

Probably. They will say 'well, whenever Paulie hit Hatton he hurt him. Paulie lost the fight, Hatton didn't win it. He was shot after Floyd, look at what Lazcano did to him'.

None of the above points I agree with, but I can see it now.

So all those who think it'll be easy for pacman(and you may turn out to be correct) are totally dismissing the huge difference in size, strength and power, also that Hatton has never even come close to losing a fight at 140?

i can respect that dave, but imo the size difference wont make up the difference between brilliance and mediocrity. besides, pac is actually bigger in some dimensions compared to hatton, with height being the only factor in favor of hatton. that wont even factor in as hatton does'nt fight tall. if i remember correctly, pac weighed in at 152 or something come fight night for hoya. speed kills, pac has loads of that and more, hatton will most likely be tagged numerous times. if a master counter puncher like jmm still got tagged multiple times through 12 rounds against pac, what could hatton do better to avoid pac's attack? hatton's best bet is too keep trying to push pac to the ropes, and make the fight ugly with his wrestling. but as i look at it now, pac most likely stops hatton.

there's really not that much of a size difference... i really think this would be an even match up physically. pac went in 148 and hatton 152 in their last fights...

Very surprised Hatton is the favourite here, but I voted for him too.

I reckon Pacs gonna get too agressive and Hatton will manage to turn it into a bit of a brawl and then beat him with the bodyshots. Hattons only ever been beaten by a defensive master remember and pac aint that, brilliant as he is.

Maybe you're right, but there will still be plenty of UK posters who think that Pac will win
