I gave Margarito 3 rounds agaisnt Williams . And since Williams threw more punches than the guy that " throws so many punches" , I think you can actually classify that as a " schooling" no ? Margarito has decent punch resistnace but no one is infallible . Connect to the side of his head instead of his forehead and I think Margarito is very "knock -outable " He comes forward alot and can see the punches coming but " twist him up " a little and catch him clean and good while not prepared like that straight razor left Mosely threw when Margarito apperare to not be braced; and you got this man where you want him.
He has a good Chin. To call it Iron is a joke. Iron Chinned fighters DO NOT get KOed like he did. Period. Nobody has said he has a Glass Jaw. Williams beat his ass and so did Mosley in a fight where he tried to cheat. Margarito and his trainer should be banned from Boxing.
Totally agree, he took a great deal of big big shots but didnt go down until late on in the fight after taking a lot of punishment.

What we do know is the myth of Margarito has been exposed. Oh, and he tried to load his gloves also. He is a disgrace and I hope he is banned from the sport for life. Either way, he is out of the picture at Welterweight for a while.
Are you serious? One ko loss, and you forget all the punishment he took from Williams, Clottey, Cotto, and Cintron in 2 fights. All those fighters are hard punchers, if you dont think Margarito has an iron chin your either a hater or a moron

Really? Guys like Jake LaMotta, George Chuvalo, Tex Cobb, Oliver McCall have Iron Chins. You can't get brutally KOed like Margarito did and claim you have an Iron Chin. Guys with Iron Chins DO NOT get KOed period. Margarito has a very good Chin but it is nowhere close to Iron.
9-3 for me 8-4 would be close. I might be able to give Marg a pity round to make it 8-4 so yeah sure , winning 4 rounds is thats kinda close.
Shane was hitting Margo with full blown power shots over and over and over, I think many fighters would have been dropped by one of them. He took them for 9 rounds... EXTREMELY good chin.
