He had 33 fights aganist my 51. He weighed in at 72kgs and I was 76,5kgs (long time since I've been that low!). Edit: He also was the current Swedish junior Champ and had some RSC's.

I've fought guys with 100-150 fights and guys who were 8kgs heavier than me.

As you said, we could at least sparred.

Good that he stops the fight if it's necessary, but it must feel awful for the boxer to lose that way. Maybe you'll learn something, but hey...

National championship end of next month.

After that local show looking like April. Another fight in May, maybe even 2 then and who knows what else. Spose depends on what happens next month.

After going thru a spell of having fights fall apart on me (yes it sux bad!), I've been on a good run and they've been holding up...so, hoping that keeps up.

Noticed you typed in stuff as I was. I am surprised also they didn't have an exhibition atleast for you, and him. Is easy enough to set the ref. up for a quick stoppage if too lopsided. Maybe the fighter didn't want it?

    I see. Good luck! :good

How many fights have you had?

They tried to talk the opponent over, but he simply didn't want to. They said it would be light contact and all, but no. Wimp.

Thanks, good luck to you also. :)

Not that many 7 (should be 9 now), after being stripped of 2 fights and basically being accused of padding my record by fighting two people older then me by 5+ years if that makes any sense at all (well Boxing Ontario wouldn't count them) with not much experience to get enough to get upgraded to Open Class...after winning provincial championship. Ended up having to redo one of them and travelling my ass off to get enough at the time for upgrade ( then five) to get to an Open championship and to be eligible for nationals. It was a bit of a mess. That make any sense? lol

    I'm 14 years old btw.

Well it barely makes sense when I reread it. Short of it is...they wouldn't count 2 fights due to age difference (boxing canada) for upgrade and they wanted my fights in Canada, both of those were in the USA. So 2 santioned fights on the card got turned into exhibitions.

I am Open Class now thru upgrade and have fought already as such and will be at nationals.

That's ridiculous. How much more evenly matched can it get really? :-(

Them stripping those two fights doesn't really make any sense at all. You're still only 14, so 7 fights are pretty good, I must say!

Even more depressing was that he already had taken on his trunks, shoes and bandages. I was so psyched to get into the ring, I stayed up all night when I got home. The training up to the fight was perfect. ****ing "Swede".
