Antonio the biggest joke and cheat in boxing Margarito

Just out of curiosity....how do you feel about Tito?

 

Not to mention that Tito is a LEGIT legend and ATG, not some cheating overrated hype job hyped up by Carlito and others specificly just to hate on PBF.

 

I hear ya....but bottom line the same outcome. Tito had a way of wrapping which made his hands and wraps harden "LIKE PLASTER" would. Not that I want to take anything away from tito b/c he was GREAT and deserves all he recv'd in his career but Tony Marg is in the same situation and many people are already taking his head off. For as limited Marg is with his skills...the man is a true warrior.

Remenicent of A carmon Bassilo...willing to fight the best...take 4 shots to deliver one and never give up. That's is what you call a heart of a champion. if he did do illegal things to win his fights then yea.....you have to question his wins but that doesn't change the fact he was willing to face the best...take their best and fight to the end.

 

Mosley had the balls to do what he did to Margarito, set aside the illegal hand wraps for a moment, and ask yourself why hasnt Floyd had the balls to grab that "easy" 8 Million to face Margarito?

the answer is simple at that time, Margarito had too much left in him, as a result of fights with Cintron, Clottey, Williams, and Cotto Margarito took too much punishment those fights IMO finished him off, Mosley just so happend to be the one that got to him first.

No matter what happend saturday it doesnt change that Floyd ducked an 8 Million dollar offer to fight this man.

 

where does margerito go from here? i think hes too damaged to be any more big fights, if he makes it through the cotto fight (if miguel has everything there) he should retire

Margarito ducked 4 mil for Williams to take 2.4 to fight Shane.

I agree with Tito's status! No question about his accomplishments and dominance! But his wraps were illegal as well and had been up to the Bhop Fight. Cheating is cheating right.....Marg shouldn't be held to a higher standard given he's not the calibre fighter Tito is. Regardless of what you think of Marg as a fighter he's got the heart and determination of a true champion.

atsch PBF got 8 Mil to fight the UNDISPUTED WW Champ, Margo was a nobody then , and is a nobody now. Margo ducked SSM in 01 when he was at his peak after beating DLH to fight Santos, than he ducked 4 mil from from Williams to a 37 yr old for 2.4 Mil, see how foolish your argument looks.

 

In Floyd's defense he offered a fight to Mosley a few years back and Mosley himself refused.

And Margo got stopped not only because of the right hands, but also because of the body shots. I've never seen anyone go to the body of Margo the way Mosley did, you could see even in the first round when Mosley hit him with a beautiful body shot, Margo's face says it all.

 

No, Tito's hand wraps were contravertial, Margo's were illegal, further the officials walked away with something from Margo's wraps, they left with nothing from Tito's wraps, huge difference.
