Maccarenelli would have had less than 4 rounds of competitve action in one year going into this fight

and when you consider that two rounds of that was getting smashed out by David Haye

and the other two rounds were spend bashing up a human punch bag

this is ill preparation against a guy who has derailed one of rising stars of boxing

this is a tough fight for Maccarenelli

But this is terrible inactivity and Maccarenellis career is wasting away under Warren

If he loses this fight he is going nowhere

This guy had a great win and is going to active and full of confidence coming into this fight that he can derail another world star of boxing

At least we get a fight that the whole world wants to see

Instead of Enzo beating up another human punchbag like Matthew Elliss or Bobby Gunn

to be honest flint i would rather see him fight a good fighter and lose than see him fight another bum.
i hope they make enzo v cunningham after this ,as i was a bit upset it did not happen this time.

it hardly warrens thought that banks is a chicken. the fact he has got him a world title shot straight away was good.

    tough fight, Enzo will win.

Question is whether the Alexeev fight was a sign of Ramirez's true ability, or a bit flukish.
Agreed that Enzo has had far from ideal prep for this fight.

Wow, that is a nasty fight if its not for a title.

That guy takes one hell of a shot and he never stops coming. Good power too. Enzo is in trouble.

this will be on the same bill as khan - barrera.

****, we could see three competitive fights on a SN show which is unheard of.

Yeah but the last tough Argie to fight the Swansea Scrapper was Ko'd with a monster uppercut

If you ask me Enzo's career would never have gotten off the ground without Fwank. OK maybe I'm being harsh as he looked good against Braithwaite, but just how faded was Braithwaite? I just don't think Enzo's all that to be honest. Seems a nice guy though and sure can dig, but then so could my uncle Mick and it never got him beyond a job with Hancon digging out the M1!

Well Braithwaite went on to beat the touted German based Cuban Hernandez in 3 rounds in his next fight after Enzo. You can make a case that Braithwaite was ring rusty when he fought Enzo, but he is still a highly dangerous competitor.
