i don't think it will be. haye has very good speed early and power but he slows down. wlad will utilize his movement and jab to minimize the risk early. if he stays disciplined, i don't see any issues. however, there is always a chance for one of wlad's infamous panic attacks which could have him stumbling around the ring like Paris Hilton at a Hollywood hotspot :yep lol...i watched the wlad-peter fight again and must admit when wlad got kd in the 10th, it was pretty funny. his legs turned to jello and then he looked at Peter with some ridiculous expression on his face the left hook off the jab will be the money punch for wlad imo. expect to see wlad utilize the lennox headlock and/or lean on the opponents back technique early :hey
Dont qoute me on this, but I'm pretty sure Vitali would of had to drop the WBC title if he chose to fight Haye instead of the WBC mandatory, which is Juan Carlos Gomez. Gomez has earned his shot, beating the former mandatory McCall awhile back, then recently beating Virchis to secure his spot. So Vitali made the decision to let Wlad fight Haye in June, and now Vitali is fighting Gomez sometime this summer.
You may be right, but I see Haye trying to get to Wlad's weak chin early, maybe try and catch him with a "Hayemaker" early, then proceed to try and take him out Corrie Sanders style. If Haye tries to box with Wlad, he stands no chance of winning, if he goes out there and tries to make it war, he stands a decent chance of getting Wlad out of there. I am really looking forward to this one, I think Wlad has been taking it easy as of late, fighting has beens (Rahman, Brock) and never was's like (Thompson and Austin), the time has finally come for Wlad to take on real competition, that's see if he's ready.
I don't do ban bets, never have and never will :good I can't even do an avatar bet for this one as I've got one on the go already with someone in the lounge. I'll be right here laughing at the Klit-ites when Haye shatters WALDOS glass though :yep
sultan was a solid win. tony thompson is a good hw. that was a good win imo. he is a huge durable southpaw with very long arms and a tight defense. wlad had to break him down slowly. rahman was a injury fill-in. better than not fighting. blame povetkin for tripping over a tree root or "bottling it" as my british board rivals would say :yep yippie...so even when wlad wins i still get to hear FW and the poster formerly known as SUG White spew childish hatred against the KLITS
Thompsons best win during his 7 year win streak was over Luan Krasniqi, and it even the best version of Krasniqi, the one that was beating Brewster the whole fight, until Brewster let loose with a few hooks and seriously hurt him, where the next round, Brewster was able to finish his oppenent off. Krasniqi was nothing special, especially by the time Thompson beat him. Sultan is probably the best out of the bunch, though we all seen how bad that fight was, where both men looked scared to let loose with anything, especially Wlad, who seemed content on winning with the jab. You didnt mention Austin, I wonder why?
I'll be going to this then. Wlad has been a big favourite of mines for many years but a David Haye victory would probably be for the good of boxing, given the Klit's reluctance to fight each other thwarting unification.
