If Margarito cheated...

I'm mexican and a big fan of Margarito, and I'm using this site to vent. If he cheated as speculated, then **** him. As a Mexican that truly loves boxing, I am disgusted and embarrased by his cheating ass! I know, I'm probably not saying anything new right now, but I just need to get it out of my system.

 

It's sort of new because alot of mexicans will defend mexican fighters even if they are clearly wrong, but I completely agree. I would actually be more angered if a fighter that I was a huge fan of cheated than one that I wasn't a fan of.

Yea its disappointing. I dont think he cheated all along.
My point of view is he did it for this fight because the weight rumors are probably true. He came in way too light. I think he prolly had to dehydrate really bad and needed an advantage. ITs still cheating but i dont see any sign of it in any other fight. Last guy he KOd was Cotto and Cotto took so many punches that u would have to have an incredible chin if someone with loaded gloves was hitting u that much and u went 11 rounds with him.

 

If it can be proven that he was doing it all along then **** him and i guess i was right all along that he was really a nobody. This past 2 years he made me a fan after i repeatedly called him a bum.

 

If he cheated, then I would be incredibly disappointed in him. Just as I was over Shane's admission on the balco stage. He would deserve whatever punishment was handed to him.

 

I think Sat nights punishment was enough.

You STFU. Realisticly, yes he did get what he deserved if he cheated, or attempted to do so. I dislike AM, but I dont wanna see him banned from boxing.

LoL. Getting suspended and banned are two different thing, but I guess you didn't know that. If AM gets suspended, that will suck, but he deserves it. But as far as him getting banned from boxing, I don't think thats fair, and many posters want to see him banned from boxing for life. :good

 

If indeed he did cheat, then everything played out exactly the way it deserved to for him.

First he gets his cheat-attempt exposed, then he suffers a title-losing, career-wrecking defeat, at no expense whatsover to his conqueror.

Sometimes, fate ain't such a ***** after all.
