the outcome would probably be the same.

Keep in mind that it wasn't really the punches or pain that destroyed cotto...it was complete and utter exhaustion. Cotto simply put, punched himself out. It was Margarito's ability to take massive head punishment, and keep the pressure on that made cotto fall (or quit however you put it).

if there was any wrong doing in this fight, its not Margaritos fault its the corner of Cottos fault, they are to do their jobs and check the wraps as well.

C'mon, that's a cop out. You can fault Cotto's team for not being on top of things, but that doesn't make it ok for Margo to do something so outrageously awful. He is literally willing to kill or cause permanent damage to his opponents if he willingly loads his gloves like that and pounds away on them.

You must also keep in mind that Margo had ONE glove signed off as okay by a commission member before Nazim showed up. If Nazim wasn't so strict about the handwrapping of other fighters, any other trainer might have dismissed the glove as okay because of the supposed trust put into commission members...

Come on!!U dont think that if his gloves were loaded(which i think they were)that it would not have an affect on the fight?Cotto gased and quit because he was getting hit in the body and head with bricks!!!

Are you that plain ****ing ignorant.

    Jesus ****ing christ.

You clearly have no understand of the affects of being punched, body punches in particular take a lot of energy out of a fighter, so does taking punches to the head. It's completely obvious that having rocks under your gloves is going to do a lot more damage and pack much more power, taking a lot more out of a fighter.

    Absolute ****ing idiot.

That was in California and not in Vegas, in California the commission just isnt on top of their game, Nazim should have been in there prior to them starting their hand wrapping process, perhaps the stroke has slowed him down a bit.

did you see his bloody face afterwards?? that could alone could be counted as blood loss...

Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and organs and removes waste products. It is made up of several main components, including red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. Red blood cells carry and release oxygen throughout the body. White blood cells are part of your immune system and help fight infection. Platelets help the blood form clots (which stops bleeding). Blood cells are suspended in a watery yellowish liquid called plasma, which also contains proteins partly responsible for blood clotting, and globulins, which help fight infection and disease.

    Some serious ****.

If were going to question whether Margarito cheated in previous fights, we might as well question the integrity of all other state commissions that possibly failed to this act

And keeping this constant pressure on Cotto had nothing to do with loaded gloves? Also the reality of and confidence from the knowledge that your punches are doing more damage than his also had nothing to do with the plaster huh? Ok then, let's all forgive people like Mr. Bonds and Mariam Jones for cheating, because the results would have been thesame without the juice anyway, right?

Once you taint something with cheating, there is no way to tell how the outcome would have unfolded had there been an even level of playing field. This is why the results must be thrown out.

    Hey ****face...:|:|:|

Why do Cotto fans get to be the only ones who speculate on plaster?

What about Clottey and PW? What does this say about their chins?

See, at least they were good enough to last against Margo, despite having to deal with the loaded gloves... See how it works?

    Motha****a!

I have a wonderful little test we could try. I am going to saw off part of my wall at home. But i'll be nice here, I'll put in in a towel. Maybe even two towels and hit you in the face with it for 12 rounds. Plaster breaks right? so it shouldn't break your face in... who wants to try?
