No way would have Calzaghe beaten this guy

Remeber James Toney went 46 fights unbeaten when he fought a still off his prime Roy Jones

Thats more than Calzaghe

Roys prime came after the Toney fight because he said himself he learned so much because of that big fight in 1994

Roy was coming to the peak of his powers from about 1996 onwards

 

Calzaghe lacks the aura and power of the fighters like Roy Jones and Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank and Gerald McCllenan and Bernard Hopkins and James Toney

Them guys just had more too them


Calzaghe is very good - because of extreme fitness and non stop punch / slaps and a good chin / recovery ability and a strong will to win

But for me he has always lacked that aura that a great fighter commands.......maybe if he was a murderous puncher with all the other attritutes he got.............but these days he has no power at World level

But it is foolish to write off a puncher like Tyson against anyone

If Tyson lands on Lewis chin.........its not like the first time they would have crapped Lennox up off the floor

But yeah I'm a big Lennie Lew fan and I grew up watching Lennox fight in America and stuff

And I think he might be too strong for any version of Tyson

Lennox Lewis might just be the physically strongest man in the history of boxing
