Which of you will say that Mosley ruined Margo

I wanted to start this thread months before the proposed Margo vs Cotto 2 fight.

Should Cotto beat Margo in June, which of you will claim that Mosley ruined Margo?

After margo beat Cotto many posters here were acting as if Margo was a boxing god. Now not so much.

So who will go on the record now and say Mosley ruined now before the outcome of the Cotto vs Margo fight occurs.

I am not saying that I believe it; it's just that people like to make excuses.

 

I would say it was a culmination of punishment that Margie has received to get to the top of the hill.....I believe Cotto took a lot out of him and
Mosley was there to push him over the edge.
Again, Margie is on the wrong side of the hill and on his way down.

 

Nazeem Richardson ruined Margarito.

 

Dont take anybodys word on this, when you notice Margarito isnt the same fighter in his next few fights you will see, The punishment he has taken over his career and the way he was brutally knocked the **** out saturday is not good for your brain at all, I can see the start of the end here for Margarito, he might eek out another W over Miguel but even that is a huge question mark, I think its safe to say that the recent wars he has had with Clottey, Williams, Cintron, Cotto and Mosley all have taken a big chunk out of Margarito its going to be hard to come back after all of that.

i agree..i think the fact that he got found out about his loaded gloves had a serious effect on him during the fight

The lack of speed, defense, skill and ring smarts ruined him, he is and has always been a slow limited plodder.

 

Cotto and Mosley to a larger extent.. They both hit him with everything but the corner stool :deal

It almost seems like Margarito never tried to improve defensively and simply relied on his granite chin. That lack of improvement might prove fatal for his career.

 

People can only take so much punishment, alot of boxers find a style that they prefer and stick with it. The best boxers are able to adapt better than others. Mosly and his trainer studied Margarito and came up with the perfect game plan. When Margaritos best weapons were taken away, he did not have a plan B. I am not knocking anyone here, I like the fact that their are so many different styles, it is what makes the sport interesting to me.
