The guy has lost three fights in over 30 bouts.

And the three he lost two are probably all MMA Hall of Famers. No, not probably,...definitely!

And his list of victims is a "who's who" of the lighter weight MMA top tier fighters.

Sean Sherk is underrated as ****.......and nobody besides Penn beats him at lightweight.

at the same time there was a time where sherk was a major can crusher. 170 he was to short but still dominant enough a wrestler. his recent show of boxing is something to note i mean if he can start to strike with his wrestling he could be very dangerous. imo one of the three best shot wrestlers the sport has today.

I agree Sherk is underrated and deserves his credit. His 3 losses are to great fighters, he didn't lose to tomato cans and nobodys. That guy has one hell of a resume. However I wouldn't say nobody at lightweight except for Penn beats him. I'd love to see a rematch with Florian since Kenny is more experienced in MMA now and a much better fighter than before, and if Diego Sanchez is able to still perform as he did at 170 then he'd give Sherk serious problems.

Definately underrated. Problem with him is not only has been fighting above his weight for a lot of the time but he also trys to box with his short arms. He's got good boxing but he gets beaten to the punch by guys with longer reach.

I'd pick Florian over him in a rematch though. Kenny was a bit green at the time.

Actually, he may not have been on the juice. That's why the commission cut his suspension in half.

Sherk is seriously underrated. He's a strong wrestler with excellent countering skills. The only thing keeping him from the lightweight belt is BJ Penn. A rematch between the two could be somewhere down the line.

He is pretty good. He only lost to the 3 best welterweight in ufc history. Hughes-Penn-GSP. I think he should have expanded his game and learned submission cuz that's what he lacks in his game. He has pretty good stand up and wrestling but he is not a submission fighter.

Sherk was on juice you better believe it. That guy goes around 5ft 5 and walks around close to 200lbs or more inbetween fights. Can spot a hormone user a mile off.

Im not getting this. Underrated by who exactly? Who would underate a steam train like Sherk? Its abundantly clear the guys talented? He has a solid beard, great ground control/wrestling and a decent standup. The only thing he lacks is submissions on the floor. Other than that who is that takes him lightly?

I dont think his submissions are bad hes scored alot in his career and has shown good defense for it. Hes just not real flashy and he isnt talked about much aside from all hype for the BJ Penn fight hes been mostly forgot about over the years even now.
