Completely uninterested if it's not on TV over here to be frankly honest, not sure it's going to do a lot for any of the guys anyway.

Haven't been following results, don't know a few of those guys, but I'll go with Troy Ross, though Felix Cora Jr is a tough fight. If he overcomes that I think he takes it.

That Hino guy did completely outclass Ding...albeit a weight-weary Ding.

I got Felix Cora jr to win the whole thing. However, the only place I've seen some of these guys is on the contender, and you can't tell much about how good they are from the chopped up crap that passes for a fight on that show.

Yeah I saw that. I think he can possibly get to the final, he's in with a shot, but in honesty - as much as I like Ding - anybody who can box a bit and stay away from his big punches can take a clear decision over him, especially over 5 rounds.

Ehinomen "Hino" Ehikhamenor, now 13-3 (7).

Won every round. Darnell's finished, had a great head of steam after that little win streak but I guarantee you he will never hold a world title now. Just not taking the game seriously, couldn't even focus on his weight given a bounceback opportunity like this.

The concept of a "Contender" type show has a ton of potential, but the people who produce it are not doing a very good job.

They should focus on young guns with 15-20 fights and no more than one loss. And screw this hokey match making. Get a pro to make the best possible match ups for the first round, and let the tournemant progress naturally. Show full 8 round fights and good fighter profiles.

Yeah, they're trying to hard to bridge the gap to a mainstream audience (which it's never really attained in four seasons). They should just cater to the hardcore boxing fans and accept that it will have a cult following at best (it doesn't even really have that).

    Agree with Butt on this.

Who is that guy that Hino is fighting? I think Hino has a good shot to get to the final...dont know about beating the Cora/Ross.

Hino is decent, but I don't really like the talent level on the bottom half of the bracket. I think Alfredo Escalera Jr. is pretty solid and I think he'll steamroll AK. The Troy Ross/Cora Jr. fight will be very close... whoever wins this fight will take on Escalera Jr. and the winner of that fight will be the winner I think. I'll go with Cora Jr. (I like his skill set and I don't think his chin is great but it's good enough to hold up in this competition) to win a narrow decision over Ross, and then Cora Jr. to outpoint Escalera Jr. I'll take Hino to make the finals by default out of the weaker bottom bracket. I like Cora Jr. to beat Hino by wide UD in the finals.

Is it a certainty that the winner of the Hino fight will face the winner of the Hoye fight?

I listed the fights in the order they're taking place; per the Contender website on Versus.com

I can only imagine they'd have the winners of 1 + 2 face in the quarterfinals, as well as the winners of 3 vs. 4...unless they completely throw a ****** wrench in standard tourney progression. So not certainty but I'd say highly probable. I can't remember offhand if the "Bracketology" board they show is arranged like I have it, I believe so..
