Yes remember Margarito's loss to Williams wasn't that long ago. Moving up 2 divisions to fight a legend who came off a narrow pts loss to a top 3 p4p fighter is not that damning. Even though he got embarrased he showed heart in that fight.

Why not? He damn near knocked Lujan's ear off disfiguring the man for life. Only loaded gloves could cause that type of damage.

Although I admit to being a big fan of Marg, because of his weak defense I knew the day in which we would see him get knocked the **** out would come. There is only so much punishment a man can take before succumbing to it. Now with that being said, we cannot take any of his accomplishments away, it is all set in stone facts. Oh and just so you know, B-Hop is my favorite current fighter, I still support Marg and can't wait for Cotto's comeback. So basically I am not blinded by the facts. I'm a true boxing fan.

You seem to be really happy about this whole incident? I don't get it; why would any boxing fan want a cheating scandal to come out?

Hopefully once the full story is out it'll look better than it does now, although at the moment it's looking pretty bad.

I just don't get your mindset. Isn't it about being a fan of the sport rather than blindly loving/hating a particular fighter(s)? If it's proven he cheated, it's bad for the sport. You seem to want that outcome?

Because cheaters like Margo need to be flushed out of boxing before they really hurt someone that's why. I'd much rather have some negative press on a cheater than boxing having a black eye because someone was killed.

And the Stony-Gloves helped him produce those wins..Margarito is slow, stiff,No defense which translates to overrated...

Pavlik lost to a 43 yr old man. Margo pounded out a young 27 yr old who was considered the #1 welter in the world. I think you would have to put Margo ahead of Pavlik.

That is another story. I'm honestly talking as if he didn't cheat. If he is proven guilty then we already know his accomplishments are forever tainted, but as of now, we are still waiting on the official word.

    So would I.

But stuff like he's been doing it since age 17 is just pure and complete speculation. I know he didn't have many KOs before that age as I saw you mention, but how many 15-16yr olds are fully developed physically and with their strength?

Anyway my post was mainly just because there's only so many times you can read the exact (pretty much) same posts / threads, the hating/defending continuous arguing gets a little repetitive and it's pretty much everywhere at the minute!

Why not wait til the conclusion of the investigation before stating stuff as fact? If you're right and it's confirmed he's guilty, then i'm sure the majority will join you in the bashing!
