Then what the **** are those NSAC officials saying that margo is innocent until proven guilty. If this report is true, they are actually saying that margo is suspended until proven innocent. LOL.

 

i am no big fan of cotto, or margo or mosley for that matter, so i will be very objective here. the merry go round of wins over each other is really an interesting mix but would somehow raise the question, would it have been the same way if margo fought cleanly.

again, the presumption of innocence has its limitations. while you may be presumed innocent until a court of law finds you guilty, in a final judgement, this does not necessarily mean that preventive or punitive measures cannot be imposed. for example being arrested, detained, administrative or preventive suspensions.

these are punitive in nature pending final verdice. this is because there is strong evidence to warrant such preliminary suspension. if margo and the trainer were indeed suspended, i am sure there was basis for it since it would be stupid for them to impose it in the first place without proof that can stand in the court of law.

the US being litigous in nature, i am sure that there is enough initial basis to warrant such penalty.

 

Look I don't hate the man in fact I like Margarito its his girly fan club I can't stand , but that beside the point , the man is in deep **** and I wish him the best , but its time to come to grips with the fact that he did something illegal and he getting suspended because it , and he's not getting suspended because he got KOed..

Margarito IS innocent until PROVEN guilty. This is just a TEMPORARY measure until the investigation is completed.

 

precisely my post kadyo. there would be a debate of course whether he used foreign substance in his previous fights, although that totally busted up ear of cotto is a compelling evidence.

Indeed it is. As usual, all sorts of wild conclusions are being drawn on the basis of very little evidence. The investigation is NOT complete, and even IF it is determined that there was some plaster-like substance in Margarito's gloves before the MOSLEY fight, this proves nothing about PREVIOUS fights.

 

Circumstancial evidence? I think if they look at pics again after the margo-cotto fight, they will find a lot. There's this story going around that margarto did not cut his hand wrap after the fightn until he reached his quarter far from the eyes of everyone.
