    I know shannon Briigs did.

However, I am not so sure about the others. I heard that a post prison Tyson lifted weights.

I know that Holyfield did too, especially after the first Bowe fight!

I think u would find all pro boxers(or elite ones atleast) do a few weight based exercises...

They just do weights for a different purpose then say a bodybuilder..

When i was fighting i done low reps heavier weights...All real explosive reps...It helps build explosive strength which is the power u are aiming to build on for your punches.

All of them. Those that don't would be the exception to the rule rather than the other way round. That weights are bad for boxers is an outdated mindset that went out of fashion in the 80's.

Lots of fighters in history used light weights and cables.

Randy Turpin was unusual in the fact that he apparently used to do Olympic lifting movements-the snatch and the clean.

I was in Las Vegas for a long time and saw a lot of pros training. Usually before a fight I did not see them lifting excessively, but one exception was Hassim Rachman. He and Floyd Mayweather worked out at the 24 hour fitness on trop and decatur with Leonard Ellerbe all the time. Floyd would run upstairs and then go play basketball - I never saw him lift. On the other hand, Hassim went right to the weights, and, no joke, that guy was the strongest one at the gym. He is big, and was able to do a fair amount of pullups, repping with 400 to 480 lbs on the bench press, squatting ludicrous amounts of weight. I wouldn't be surprised at all if his leg work was getting over 700 lbs.

You see hatton on the pre-fight shows, and for heavyweight you saw Roy Jones doing pretty light weights really, but Hassim really pumps iron. I think his agility suffers because of it, but he is legitimately strong.

Roy Jones does, Berto used to/still does train with the Saints, Mayweather does, Holyfield, Tyson (post-prison), Lennox Lewis (I recall after he retired, he was on ESPN saying he'd miss training, lifting, etc.), Tszyu, Mosley, Hatton, Cotto, the list goes on and on.

it's pretty obvious that most top pros who have moved throughy various weight classes have lifted weights in order to get to these weight classes
also to maintain they're size when they get there
one thing is for sure is that they did not build up by doing push ups

Almost all accomplished pro`s use weights to some vary degree. Those that don't are idiots.
