Please persuade the guys at Setanta to pick up Marquez-Diaz, great undercard fight with John-Juarez aswell, aswell as the February 14th card. Sergio Martinez vs Kermit Cintron Ricardo Mayorga vs Alfredo Angulo Nate Campbell vs Ali Funeka + Ivan Kirpa, Gary Russell Jr, Ray Austin & Anthony Dirrell! Do it Stevie!
If you don't do this for us Bunce, we will cast you out of the British forum! Then you might have to go to boxrec or boxing scene! Come on Buncey! :good At least the JMM/Diaz card anyway
I doubt Buncey has much control over the purse strings at Setanta but if they networks aren't asking too much, and he can give the bigwigs an ear bashing for long enough, then he might just talk the into it. If not I'd be fairly confident that we'll all be able to pick those cards up on the, eh, radio somewhere online :good
I need the Cintron fight and the Mayorga fight Cintron usually pops up on sky but they seem to think boxing doesnt exist outside the uk these days :huh
Lets hope setanta get these cards. My hopes aren't high for the Feb 14th one though - it's awful close now. It's be rather frustrating if we miss out on these. I mean, are they really that much more expensive than the Saureland contract (which has always seemed a peculiar one to me)? Maybe Diaz-JMM is; but I can't see the Campbell card being that much of a ***** to get a hold of. Even taking place in the twilight hours I think it would get superior ratings to the Huck card (taking replays into account as well). Of course, it would be unfair to be too hard on setanta - without them we'd be completely ****ed. It's just that we're pretty much totally reliant on them nowadays, seeing as Sky don't wanna get the finger out of their arse for the most part.
Hopefully Setanta beat Sky to it. I cannot bear watching Dave Clark and Johnny Nelson ruin their credibility any further by reading their pre-written scripts.
:good:good top man. Don't always agree with your opinions Mr. Bunce but I think we're all in the debt of yourself and all the guys at Setanta. You are the saviours of the televisually inclined boxing enjoyer. (actually, make a good epitaph that)
