Here's probably the biggest reason why Khan is "hated":

    Khan v Prescott

First we have the build-up: "Khan joins the legends on Sky" (Sky advert, with posters of Lennox,Tyson etc. hanging in the background); taking the **** with that a bit.

Then we have the actual fight itself: Amir Khan (unproven prospect) v Breidis Prescott (unknown Colombian no one had ever heard of before the fight was announced).

Included is the crappy underbill that wasn't much crack.

    And all this was:
    PPV

He was pretty disliked before this, due to the hypetrain that surrounded him; but, this PPV bollocks pushed a lot of people over the edge.

Because he is a Sports Network fighter and he was the headliner in the Sky Sports PPV bill.

Follow the connecting cords here and you will attain enlightenment:good

Its not that I dislike the "person" Amir Khan (I actually do a bit, but I dislike a lot of boxer's personalites), its that I dislike the "entity" Amir Khan. Think about it; there are plenty of cocks in the boxing world (too many), but they don't get the flack Amir gets. Its the whole hype bollocks around him combined with the laughable PPV.

If I was going to get personal I would say that cocky, arrogant boxers should have to earn the right to be cocky and arrogant. PBF can come across this way, but I don't mind that because he earned that right and backed up the majority of his boasts in the ring. Khan hasn't; therefore he is an open target.

It Doesn't mean that he decides that his fight is PPV i'm sure he's told that by his management and I doubt you would object when told it is PPV ...

I wouldn't say I hate Khan but I wasn't exactly sorry to see him get banjoed and the reason behind this is that he seems already to be too full of himself. I have heard a few stories about him that I am not too impressed with. Plus there's the dangerous driving in his flash car! I'm not usually one for the lazy tabloid Khan-Hamed comparisons but this one is appropriate!

Hope so, if we can't win it, I wouldn't mind them doing so, anyone except the mickies!

United are brilliantly placed considering they've only just been spluttering through games and not getting the best out of Carrick and Berba.

5 points clear if they beat Everton at home.

Then a win win situation Liverpool-Chelsea. They could be 4 points clear of both with a game in hand with a draw, or if one loses they are out of the title race in reality.

I was referring to a couple of stories I have heard about Khan giving it the old Big Time Charlie routine and basically being a bit of an arrogant prat. Nothing particularly interesting, just fairly typical of a guy letting his name and success go to his head. Not sure I can repeat them on the Board but PM me if you want to know.

Carrick has been very good since he joined, it's only those know-noughts who think that because he doesn't fly past six players like Ronaldo or hit 30 yard screamers like jailbird, erm.. I mean Stevie G he isn't playing well. Anyone who has watched United much over the past two years knows that his passing, movement, vision and reading of the game is important to keeping our midfield ticking over.

I always said I'd be happy if we were still in touch in the league in January bearing in mind the tough opening fixture list and the world club championship, well it's the end of Janary and we're top with a game in hand!

Go on Chelsea, finish the scouse title bid for good!

  12. Personally, I'd have to with Kerry Katona. ****ing hate that talentless ****.

Famous for once upon a time being 'the one with fake breasts who didn't actually sing' in a crap girl band. Then famous for winning a reality tv show for z-list, non-entity celebrities. Now famous for being famous, living beyond her means, and having serious physical and mental health problems in the full glare of, and funded by, trashy gossip magazines and appallingly bad (so I hear) fly-on-the-wall tv shows.

...and for the record I don't hate Amir Khan. He still has the potential to become a very good world level fighter for years to come. Hopefully he stays with Freddie Roach to learn a few new ricks and tighten up that defence, and hopefully he ditches the Warren/Sky Box Office nonsense as soon as he can.

want to know what my post means TFFP,its total bollocks just like all your hatton posts.
have you been in a ring and fought someone, you are a ****ing moron for thinking its a kids scrap, rabbit punching this, hitting below the belt that.
what do you want them to do,get in the ring 'put your dukes up old bean, but watch the nose,oh and ive just had the hair done,so be carefull'

you say you know,in fact all the haters say you all know everything about boxing, hatton haters being the worst.
personaly to me hattons style is spot on,aggresion, body punching to drop the hands,so what if one strays, moving his head and body and feet togeather, have you tried it,have a go when you out of your office, its ****ing hard, total co-ordination,only the best can do it,and hatton is up there with the best

personaly about khan, he was made for the am's,not pro's,i don't hate him,he is good, but no where near good enough,or aggresive enough to beat the top hard punching, boxers.
a lot of pro's don't have much am experiance,maybe,30 40 fights, and no international fights,so don't get into the straight 1 -2, stand up, point scoring punching, khan went to the top and is still stuck there:bbb
international level am's like khan get to upright, and thats where khan go's wrong, streight punching, with chin up
