33 not to old mate,im 39 and sometimes go down my old boxing gym to spar(hated bag work,loved sparring and pad work )
have to keep resonably sharp so if the daughter brings home a boyfreind and he gets cheeky,i can dig him in the gut,so not to mark him up u know:hey:bbb

 

When dealing with my daughters 'friends' I use the tried and tested 'towel wrapped round my fist' deal. You can punch them full in the face and not worry about marking them up. :good

Or another one I use is the 'silent' treatment. Just stare at them for ages and don't change your facial expression, then turn around and walk away and laugh just loud enough for them to hear. They shite themselves :scaredas:

sparings the best bit,u spar diffrent styles all night,sluggers,runners,boxer movers,naz wannabes,all styles,and it great pratice for when you get in the ring,cos am's at club level mostly weigh in on the night and get matched up,with someone with same weight(not always)and experiance(not always).
