Wlads left hook when he was younger was very quick. He's probably slowed at a bit, but thats the most impressive thing I've seen from him imo - the speed of his left hook - most heavies with a good jab dont even use one.

Yeah, like David Haye. He has great speed, imagine a jab with great speed. But too bad that fool is to dumb.

actually Haye does have a great jab when he chooses to use it, watch his first fight at HW against Bonin, he throws pretty much the most beautiful 1-2 you'll ever see, and the jab in that 1-2 had blinding speed and it was heavy, i cant wrap my mind around why this guy doesn't throw it more often :think

Like I said, he doesn't use a jab.

    no, hes right.

If vlad was a complete heavyweight, Haye wouldnt have a chance at KO'ing him. So it would be boring.

I was right. Just checked boxrec and Dave was TKO'd by a 197 lb. cruiser named Carl Thompson.
    You have such nerve:patsch

He means Tony Thompson, Wlad stopped him a couple of fights back. You're thinking of Carl Thompson who won against a very green Haye when the towel came in, not by knockout as some would have you believe.

Wlad said he is not interested in fighting Povetkin any more. He said he had his chance to fight him Dec 13, but, he was injured. He also said if the Haye fight falls thru, he will fight Arreola May 16 in LA.

I thought I remembered one, but congrats on the 2nd and keeping the marriage together. That's not so easy to do today. I'm still married & my son is 7 years old now. I still live in the same house & plan to stay here at least until I retire, which will be by the time I'm 50.

I love that knockout! When have you ever seen any HW throw that many left hooks in a row? Brilliant display.
