For those of you who don't know who Billy Collins Sr. is, he is the father of Billy Collins Jr. Collins Jr. had his career ended at the hands of Luis Resto who's trainer removed an oz. of padding from his gloves and dipped Resto's wraps in plaster of paris. Here are the quotes.

"Shane Mosley was a lot luckier than my son was,...At least they found out before the fight. Before he got hit with anything. They say time heals all wounds. That's a big old lie."

"I knew Margarito was doing something ,...Cotto was beat up worse than my son was. He was cut up all to pieces. You can't do that kind of damage with a glove."

Now of course Collins Sr. has no definitive proof of this allegation. However, it's interesting to read his perspective.

Is there more to the interview? If so can you post a link or hint on where it came from?

Collins Sr. blames too much of his son's demise on the beating he took in the ring. No fight made his son turn into a alcoholic and druggie and it didn't make him an ******* neither.
