yes...talk is cheap but it is gonna be great hype for this fight. it will create enormous anticipation and a boxing 'event'. many here see haye as a great fighter so a dominant wlad win should logically raise their opinion of wlad. IMO, it would be a decent win, no more no less.

i see haye-wlad as be another 6-7 round jabfest though w/o too much drama. Haye might land a couple of winging hayemakers but i think he'll be surprised when wlad is still standing and jabbing away

i wonder how many of the 130 who voted HAYE will take my lifetime ban bet? Something tells me far less but there are some really good Haye fans here who are solid posters that won't bottle it

lol punisher...u couldn't bring yourself to click on wlad's name. can't blame u really...u have a reputation to maintain but your title as top wlad hater has been relinquished to the "Hate Squad" of Mr. Prescott, Suge, and FW

That's your opinion & nothing more. Wlad doesn't pick the mandatory defenses or the rankings of the other fighters, complain to the ABC's.

i see the fight going differently-not a jabfest.

People will find a way to discredit Wlad if he wins

More like the entire world's opinion.

List Vitali's resume and how it stacks up with this...

Chris Byrd 2x - Byrd was WBO Champ 1st time, and was the IBF Champ and #1 ranked Heavyweight by Ring Mag the second time around.

Sultan Ibragimov - Undefeated WBO Champion in a unification fight.

Sam Peter - Undefeated top contender.

Calvin Brock - Undefeated top contender.

Lamon Brewster - Top contender and revenge match - Also Wlad's highest available contender for his title at the time.

    Tony Thompson - 31-1 - Top contender, hadn't lost a fight in 8 years- #1 contender for Wlad's title.

Jameel McCline - Top Contender at the time coming off of wins over Michael Grant, Lance Whitaker, and Shannon Briggs.

I will just throw these names out there as well....

Monte Barrett - 21-1 (Hot Prospect)
Charles Shufford - 17-1 (Hot Prospect)
    Frans Botha - 44-3-1
Ray Mercer - 30-4-1 - Old, but still knocking people out and had never been stopped.
Derrick Jefferson - Huge powerpuncher who came straight at Wlad.
Axel Schulz - Highly ranked fighter who was robbed against George Foreman, and then lost a split decision against Michael Moorer in title fights.
Hasim Rahman - Former Undisputed World Champion - Also Wlad's highest available contender for his title.
Ray Austin - Hadn't lost in years and was Wlad's #1 contender for his title.

So it stands... please show me how Vitali or ANY other current heavyweight under 40 years old stacks up to that resume.

Wlad has a decent resume for a title holder.

I will give Wlad all the credit in the world if he beats Haye, nobody else has a chance of beating Wlad imo.

However im more confident than ever that Haye will TKO Wlad.

He chooses to fight to the belts and honour his mandatorys. If thats what he wants, fair enough but it makes for some dull fights.Hopefully he can and try and the WBA and that might make a good fight and the Haye fight ought to be exciting so things are looking more like
    The divison is horse****

That's irrelevant. You base your argument not on the pure merit of the resume, but on terms relative to his current peers. In other words, you have it all wrong.

If Tony Thompson is a top contender then what does that say about the division? Please?
It is not his fault that the division is ****.He can only beat who is out there and he has done that for the last few years.Fair enough. But,compare that resume with that of the last generation of heavys eg LL,Holy,Tyson. His reign cannot be compared.

Oh my opinion hasn't been altered. And take your head out of Wlads arse for some fresh air

You can trust me when I say I will lose NO sleep either way. If Haye beats what will be very long odds (as they should be) I will get a chuckle out of the whole thing.
