I was reading about this in the Puerto Rico newspaper site. If I was Cotto I would fight Jennings, then Berto, then Mosley. And If I have time Margarito. But If Hatton wants to try that would be great too.(The Euro is doing good) Your opinions.........

    He wants Margarito?

Doesn't keep up with the news, obviously.

Cotto KO's him inside of 8, and he can forget about fighting Margo for obvious reasons.

Berto has no chance against Cotto at this point. He needs to rematch Callazo first and win in convincing fashion. Then he can think about Cotto.

Where does Collazo fit in, or does he get screwed again?

They asked the Cotto camp and they responded that they are focused on
the Jennings fight and not taking that one lightly....
but that they will fight whoever.

I really don't think Berto is ready for Cotto,,,,,but he apparently thinks he
can catch him in a moment of low confidence.....

Berto needs to stop listening to his cheerleaders and start listening to
    some sound and frank advice.

Berto struggled big time against Collazo, and imo Collazo should have won, and he wants to fight the top dogs?

He does indeed. Margarito is an awful matchup for Berto who stands square in front of his opponents and trades far too often which would play into the hands of Margarito. If Margarito is able to continue fighting Berto should definetly stand clear of him for the time being. As far as Cotto as a possible opponent, Berto's defintely not ready for that kind of a step up after seeing him against Collazo. I'd have to wait and see how Cotto performs against Jennings to be sure but right now I'd favor Cotto over Berto by UD or late stoppage.

maybe I was watching a different fight but I wouldn't go as far as to say that he struggled against collazo but I just cant see berto beating cotto in my opinion or margo but margo is out of the equation

NO CHANCE??? Cotto has always had supsect defense, and is a sucker for a uppercut. if Margarito slow ass uppercuts him him, then he isnt ready for Bertos. I think both guy can get KO, I would favor Cotto but if Berto won it wouldnt be a huge upset, the guy has got skills.

What does Collazo have to do with Cotto? Collazo is nothing like any other fighter at 147, other than maybe Quintana (who moved up).

Personally, I think Berto needs to take a step back, and fight someone a little more straightforward. His performance against Collazo was sketchy enough that if I were his handlers, I'd want him facing someone like Lujan or Soto-Karass next.
