How do you English and Scottish feel that a Welsh fighter is Britains best?

I like the welsh and the scots..and the irish.

And how the welsh are so proud of a man who supported Italy when they thrashed Wales and also attempted to box for italy when he failed the Welsh list...

Just goes to prove he's Welsh when it suits him.

 

Speaking as a scosman, i like JC and always support him. How do all you welsh folk feel about him dodgin the englishman Froch though?

 

I'm Scottish, but when it comes to boxing Nationalitys don't really come into it.

Although I agree with the guy earlier who said if he was watching a fight as a neutral he would support the British guy by default.

Always been a Calzaghe fan, but he should retire now as I think he's done.

 

hmm. Reading this thread, losts of PC statements, but not much truth telling if the truth be told IMO.

 

I can honestly say I don't give a ****, a lot of the time I find Cockney boxers harder to like than the Scots and Welsh. Having said that, I don't suppose its any coincidence that my current favourite British boxer is a working class Notherner who likes a pint.....

 

your dreaming wee man!! as an english born guy who grew up in denniston(east end of glasgow) i support all british fighters! but this myth that the scots are somehow tougher/scarier than the english is jst LAUGHABLE!
the fact that you say its jst banter for the scots then you go on a rant about english football commentators mentioning 1966! lol! (a very common thing in scotland!, as if it doesn`t get under your skin!,jst banter tough eh!lol)
BTW i took a group of my"tough glaswegian"freinds down to my homeland in county durham & all of a sudden they became very quiet/polite young men
