    Burley
    Robinson
    Leonard (at a guess...)
    Kid Gavilan

    Emile Griffith
    Mickey Walker

Would be my picks to beat him with the second clutch being arguable.

He is great at the weight head to head, but the way people spaz out over him is appalling. He's inexperienced (comparitavely) and training for weight loss at the weight.

Whats your criteria for a poster being biased? Give me an example.

However long you've lurked here you've made two mistakes.

    1) Many posters ID themselves as fans of a given fighter before pointing out a negative because the forum is awash with haters who attack a fighter for no reason other than they dislike him. Identifying yourself as a fan of a given fighter is just a way of signalling the territory to your fellow poster, especially in Classic.

    2) Natonic is one of the finest posters on the site and his objectivity is taken as a given by long-time posters here.

    Everyone is biased.

I take issue when people try to claim they are not biased or try to hide their biases behind "i'm a huge x fan but" statements.

Hearns moved right on up to his better weight of 154 lbs after his loss to SRL.

I would have like to have seen a "mature" Hearns at 147 lbs and had corrected his mistakes that cost him against SRL.

Guys like Mickey Walker and Carmen Basilio would have given Hearns problems too because they were tough and would have turned the bout into a brawl.

    That's not relevant at all.

If i've never even seen him post, then i couldn't be aware of any posting history or track record of objectivity he has then, now could i?

I'm going to blow my own trumpet. I'm easily among the most unbiased around these shores. And I say that with confidence. Some fighters I don't have a high opinion of, but that doesn't make me biased against them. It's simply because of what I honestly think. And I don't talk my favs up beyond belief.

You're the type who if someones disagrees with you or talks up a fighter, thats automatically them being biased.

    Disagree with me, no.

Talk a fighter up, yes. The way most people describe fighters, you can easily pick up on their biases.

Look at the way natonic described the stoppage. The way he describes it, you'd think hearns was near death, with his eyes knocked out of their sockets, all of his ribs broken so badly their piercing out of his skin, and possibly his entire torso has been ripped clear from his legs while ray leonard was in perfect condition.
