:yep Perret went for a swim at his hotel this morning and it took him 15 attempts to exit the pool as concened passers by kept rolling him back in....fat ****er.
That'll do me. An evening well spent. Time for a pee and I'm off to bed. Check y'all on da flip side homeez
brook looked pissed with warren and dean powell after. they will step him up next. most domestic welters our with other promoters. matthew hatton is a winable fight, would last a few and would sell a decent venue on manchester. dont reckon hatton would fancy it though. chisora is a fat twat. wont go beyond domestic. mitchell needs to move on to 6 rounders and move down to feather
Right, how come tonights fight had "Frank Warren" all over the raised advertisements as supposed to "Sports Network"? And what is the "Queensbury Fight Network"? I've noticed this before, all the Sky Sports fights have this, but the Box Office and old ITV fights have Sports Network instead.
queensbury fight network is Franks broadband tv service available only via windows media centre for Vista users. i read somewhere that the whole khan - prescott show was available to american users free using this.
With hindsight gys the stoppage was a good one I agree..... Still frustrated with this though... I don't like to disrespect any fighter but can anyone explain to me why Elwell this week and Wayne Bloy last week were fighting for British titles. Shocking. Good fighters in their own right for sure but its dangerous to put these area level fighters in 12 round fights with championship fighters.
There needs to be a policy change from the BBBoc - either make every defence a mando by outlawing voluntaries, or make the list of voluntary opponents a lot shorter. Say for alphabets it is generally 15, not sure what the British title is, but it shouldn't be any longer than 5.
100% agree. It's not in the interest of the BBBC to devalue to British title. Elwell should have been nowhere near a shot at Brook's title. He had little recent track record to warrant a shot. Fights like this only damage the reputation of the board, Sky, Frank Warren and the sport of boxing. The money involved last night cannot possibly make up for the downsides.
We'll see if this vid gets removed. I put Brook-McIntyre up and that's still there so it looks like he is.
