First i agree Boxing is is completley different, domestic allegiance plays no part, never seen it, never will see it, nor would I be a part of it.

Second, I was only on a wind up wee man, i read Trotter's post about Scots in Engerland being ****s and I couldnt resist. Too easy.:deal

3rd, Your'e defending your sel too much, what happened in the east end has **** all to do with me, not my fault your folks should have settled on the other side:hey, being english would have helped, no hindered.:yep

That myth is perpetuated by England, no me. Like I said, a comment from a Scot in England led to Ill feeling toward the rest of us up here, not the other way around, but if my joke made you feel effeminate, I appolagise. I used the smillies on board to try and illistrate the joke, but it must of missed.

I said it's banter till football is brought up when im watching WWTBAM, or a 3rd round tie between B+M, then it changes to clutching at straws and an issue of vogue magazine (If youre a reader i appolagise).

Like I said bud YOU were the one who reacted to my joke about who's tougher.

    Like a fish. Who's insecure?

Scots will always welcome our less fortunate brothers, and accompany them on their trip back home,

I have enjoyed more than a few nights in both Newcastle and CD. Wouldnt swap it for the world.

ok i apoligies for caqlling you a "bitter welshman"
as a proud brit i have always supported any english/scots/welsh/&ireish fighters!!
but you know as well as i do that there are plenty of bitter/narrow minded people out there! (in england as well as wales & scotland!)
but as an englishman who moved to glasgow aged 4 ,i may have a "small" chip on my shoulder i guess!
but for some people to imply that i am lying is beyond w3hat i am willing to accept! so bring it on!!!(dunky!)
to be honest this is all bull**** but all my life ive made a point of not taking **** for being english! and no-one (without weapons) has got the upper hand! but admittably this is a stupid argument! i apoligies but i am easily riled on this subject!

    Good luck to you :good

I have no reason to believe you are a liar

Just a word of warning though

Dunky is a formidable poster who has destroyed the repuation of Newbies who have challenged him.

Its not wise to get in a slanging match with this cranky Scots man who has destroyed Newbies in the past

It was just another shite joke, dont worry about it.

My only point(within a few shite gags) was Boxing has nothing to do the banter that goes on between the home nations. I have honestly never seen it, and i bet I wouldnt ever see it.

The Boxing fans I watch fights with have there own prefrences.

And the non boxing fans (Casuals or whatever). Always cheer on the Brit, doesnt matter if it's Scott, Hatton, Calzaghe or whoever.

are you implying that someone who always cheers on the brits is either 1-a casual or 2-a non boxing fan?
    because that is bull****!!!
you could be the biggeset football fan in scotland but does that meAN you have to support brAZIL over scotland?!!!

****in hell. No I am not. They might be a raving nationalist tho.

What I meant was (And i said) a casual fan(British) will inveriably back the Brit, for the sole reason he is a Brit, not because he impressed them in his 6th fight in Mexico against a bum, but because he is British.

Not because he thinks he will go far, but coz he is a Brit, not coz he has been on board with him since the start, but coz he is a brit.

And it wouldnt matter to that Casual if he was fighting Tyson or Malignaggi, they would support him the same. Same reason the Brits drove down the betting odds on Hatton-Mayweather. It had **** all to do with knowledge, or a knowledgeable bet. They bet on who they wanted to win.

the point i am trying to make is that what is wrong with a real british boxing fan wanting ie hatton to defeat pacquio?! in the same respect would a real scottish football fan bet on england to defeat scotland because he has been with them from the start!? or does that make them either 1- a casual or 2- a non-football fan???!..... what is the difference??!!!
obviousley mayweather was the favourite to win but a hatton win was not beyond the relms of vpossiboility but you weren`t talkinfg about betting odds before!!
you were implying that anyone who supported a brittish fighter no matter what was either a casual or a non boxinf fan! ie complete bollocks!!!
