I mean who damaged margo more. I know that mosley pounded him into submission...but margs face after the cotto fight was hideous. I also assume that margo's body was much more hurting after the mosley fight. what are the punch stats?
I am not sure anyone will say Cotto hurt Margarito more than a guy who knocked him down and out. Mosley put a kingsize beating onto Margarito. Big beating. Margarito would have been lucky had Mosley been a puncher like Julian Jackson. He could have regained his skills, but the beating Mosley put on him was devastating and complete. He dominated him not unlike how Hearns did Duran in 1984. Hearns/Duran was not a one punch knockout. Hearns beat on Duran for 2 rounds and finished a wobbly Duran with a great punch.

I believe Cotto's punches were crisper and more telling due to how much they snapped Margarito's head back. Mosley's rights were thudding. They were not as sharp but more powerful. Margarito's eyes were fine after the Mosley brawl but somewhat closed after the Cotto fight. I can see why you posted this.
