no way was oscar floyd a sd thats a joke, castillo didnt beat floyd for god sake if thats the case collazo beat berto, we are not pro judges and they scored that fight for floyd based on what they have seen, anyway he beat him in a rematch and lets not forget castillo was in his prime and had the perfect style to beat floyd and didnt, floyd has learnt from that and is much better fighter for it today....

he showed dlh isn't the fighter he once was, and hasn't been for years... including when floyd fought him.

regardless, cotto, williams, and mosley would beat floyd. i've been saying mosley would beat him for years now. doesn't matter though. floyd knows this and will stay retired.

PW.. and Cotto gives him the a good fight in a loss. I would say Cotto could get 4-5 rounds at best.

Thats what im having such trouble about, the way people throw out cotto and mosley will beat floyd BASED on what cotto losing last time out but he bests pbf haha, and every1 jumped on mosleys nuts, yes he HAD fast hands in his prime to beat floyd but not anymore, if you think you can watch his fight with marg and without picking out flaws in his style and his DEFENCE that pbf would take andvantage off then ur mad.....

Let cotto and mosley fight the exact people that mayweather did at the same time in their careers and I guarantee that their records would be no defeats and more koes than gayweather. He fought people he knew he could beat and gets way to much credit becuase he hasn't lost but he never fougth the best challenges out their.

Floyd is SO underrated on this firum. It's mostly out of blind hatred. Why can't People like their favorite fighter, but at the same time admit that someone else is a great fighter, regardless of the politics that go on outside the ring?

Anyway, I think Floyd outboxes Cotto and it ain't even close 9-3. Too fast, and too much defense, while Cotto doesn't have any real ridiculous advantages over PBF. Williams on the other hand can edge him out, despite having somewhat of a leaky defense. Here's how.

Paul has a workrate and stamina that will allow him to win rounds late if necessary. At the same time, he has the chin to take chances against him if necessary. Based on these facts, PW will:

Come out early and try to smother Floyd and catch him on the ropes with bodywork, etc. People underestimate PWs ability to get at the body. By the early middle rounds PW will stay on the outside with his 82" reach and southpaw stance trying to win rounds, yet looking for an opening to exchange some good hard punches. By the late rounds, he will have the stamina and workrate to win at least 2 of the last 4 rounds.

    PW wins 7-5.

    welterweight........mosley......has a punchers chance do to his speed...and power...maybe 5 -6 yr ago....but still a punchers chance....

    but noone..right now.....

    imo...he soundly beats...cotto....margo..pwill...due to his defensive prowless...and reflexes...and footwook...

ABSOLUTELY AGREE. Question is, how can this be so hard for so many people to understand??... even Floyd knows it!!
