only one of joe's parents is italian, the other is welsh. both enzo and joe were born in the uk.

i take it you wouldn't consider me british because neither of my parents were born here?

i dont see him as british fighter, but that is my pregorative.i see him as a welsh fighter. As i see hatton, witter, derry mathews as an english fighters.I just dont subscribe to the whole 'British' thing ,yes my passport etc says it,i accept that but i see myself as scottish first and foremost.

i know a lot of ppl will disagree with me and that and it is fine ,but i feel the term 'british' dilutes someones nationality.

  5. Wow, how did Derry Matthews sneak into this thread?

Round of applause for Mister MASSIVE FONT :happy

Derry Mathews sounds Irish to me... joke'

Calzaghe himself states he sees himself as Welsh, but also British by the way.

Couldn't give two ****s. I'm English and I've always liked Calzaghe and I've never liked Hatton. Makes no difference to me where a fighter is from.

    Audley's definitely English! Sorry!

Years ago the Welsh football captain was Mike England - he was great, and I didn't mind his name.

I'll take him on. All he needs is for someone to sit him down and explain, " Audley, you just aren't very good at this", I reckon he would get the message.

Great av, and location description :good
