So, uhh, is Kessler ever going to fight a viable opponent again?

I just think Kessler cant get a fight or anyone to fight him.

168lb`s has 3 good champions so let Taylor avoid them all and just fight each other.

How about Jermain Taylor buys a passport and dares to challenge the multi-belt winning Dane instead of losing to the likes of Pavlik, then facing shop worn Jeff Lacy and apparently now Allan Green

Taylor fought all comers but he is one bad loss away from oblivion. He and DiBella are being smart, just we all hate that ****.

Kessler is the man in the SMW division

Bute has held his IBF belt for a fair while now too

Froch has the most prestigious belt

The WBO holder Balzsay is somewhat of an enigma but that belt tends to stay in Europe so no criticism for Taylor/DiBella there

The likes of Andrade, Bika (IBO), Inkin, Mundine, amd Berrio are all tough enough opponents too and so I just don't see why Kessler gets the abuse he does on here for chasing world titles and big fights at SMW, and frequents to the USA on big fight nights

Fighting Jeff lacy and seemingly now Allan Green seems a little pointless in the current climate seeing as there are titles out there that Taylor should/could be chasing in order to make a noise in the weightclass

DiBella putting Taylor in with Lacy for zero titles and then justifying it by calling it some form of eliminator putting it on HBO can be seen as far worse and more pointless than Mogens Palle setting up Kessler to fight the undefeated Sartison for the WBA SMW title.

Taylor and his team seem to want no part of Kessler right now, and even Froch seems to be being avoided for one reason or another.

Truth is none of the belt holders are from the USA and Taylor won't leave his home country so it will have to be HBO and money that drags the belt holders over to America when it suits Taylor and his people.

Lets not forget Taylor has done nothing in the 168 division yet.....the belt holders have. Give more creedence to the titles and less to the TV networks and the belts become more important and fighters like Taylor would have to fight the likes of Kessler or Bute just to keep his career relevant.

Taylor is ducking everyone, he should just retire. If Taylor doesn't want to fight either Froch or Kessler, Kessler and Froch should fight. It may not be a huge fight, and I am pretty sure Kessler would shutout Froch, what ever the outcome it would give Taylor no place to hide.

If Kessler meets Taylor, it will be lights out for Taylor. Kessler will then hopefully command the big fights.

If Taylor doesn't want to fight Kessler, Froch, Bute, Bika, Andrade or Balzsay then what is he doing in the 168 weight classification???

Let him go back to MW and beat up on WWs and LMWs on HBO for cold hard cash.

I give him all the credit in the world for fighting Hopkins and Wright without losing but he is seemingly unwilling to dip his toe in the deep end of the SMW division

Taylor bashing has to be the biggest joke in Boxing. For a guy with a resume like his, a history of facing the best consistently, he really takes a lot of heat from no-minds.

It's sometimes due to managerial problems, and from what i have read Kessler is blaming his promoter, Palle, because he have not done enough to get Kessler the fights he needs. So i think and hope Kessler will let his contract expire, so he can focus 100% on building a real legacy.
Apparently Palle don't mind Kessler fighting old, veteran Mads Larsen which really isn't the fight Kessler needs after a 2008 fighting easy opponents in Sartison and mandatory Haussler... Kessler has rejected fighting Larsen, and would only consider it if made he a big result like beat Bute and get a belt. Personally i think Kessler will get another big fight eventually, because he is very eager to impress, very hungry to prove himself after the loss to Joe
