Hey Pea where do you rank Whitaker and Tito all time WW? top 15?

 

Is everyone forgetting that DLH made Tito look like a clueless amateur for most of that fight? Yes I know, he ran for three rounds, worst technical decision in the history of boxing, but the fact remains that Tito was shown as not being on the same level as DLH. Factor in the brick factory in his gloves and you gotta say that including Tito in the top 15 is questionable, at best.

Whilst I agree that DLH won that fight, I have to say....styles make fights.

Not sure between Curry, tito and basillio for 10

H2H duran would be in and quite far up

 

Between the two I would pick Tito. Basilio was a fantastic WW but his best win was at MW, whereas Tito's best were at Welter. I know Carmen was more of a WW than a MW, but his ATG standing is more off of those performances against Ray Robinson (both winning efforts IMO)

 

Carmen does have some good wins at welter though, graham,de marco and saxton are all good fighters, i had forgot armstorng in my original 10 that i had 1st posted and thought i had edited my post before anyone realised that but you where a bit to quick for me:good:good

I'm pretty happy with my top 8 and then have rodriquez, curry, basillio and trinidad very close for the last couple of places

 

No doubt Basillio was a very, very good Welter. It's not like he looked a MW when fighting Robinson!

His WW standing is good, I'm just saying, his ATG standing is mainly down to the win over Robinson at MW.

No doubt though, H2H Carmen is Hell for any WW in history.
