Some people dont understand what a glass jaw is. Glass jaw = getting KTFO by a light puncher. For example, Mundine KOed by S. Otke or Khan put down by W. Limond etc. If you get TKO by a monster like prime Tyson e.g. this does not mean you have a glass Jaw.
RJJ has a glass jaw for getting KO'D by heavy handed Tarver, when he weight drained weakened and past it, by many estimations. Makes no sense. Micheal Bennett is a man who had a glass jaw.
Good point. Another one is Bruno who people keep saying had no chin when in fact he had a great chin but poor survival instincts.
To be fair that was a HW punch and I am not sure if you could say Sprott is a non puncher but because it is Fraudley lets call it a glass jaw!
Yea it gets ridiculous. Chris byrd moved down from heavy, he took shoots from all of the big bangers at heavy -- do we say he has a glass jaw because he was KO'd by a journeyman at light heavy? Anyways this is Micheal Bennett, I think his punch resistance is a prime example of a glass jaw, as this guy he is fighting does not really have pop like that - also he had loss by KO a few times before this by light hitters. If you look at the way Micheal Bennett fell, I think the immediate stoppage was very good. His legs completely gave out and the back of his head hit the canvas. Now, Bennett has a lot of heart, no doubt he would've tried to get back up. But the way his legs gave out, my thought is he would've fell back down or to the very least wobbled across the ring. Also if you look at it before the KO he was all over the place. It was a good stoppage imo, and especially if you were already acquainted with his fights prior it's definitely a good stoppage.
