Sorry to dissapoint you, but it wasn't me. I have ALWAYS maintained that PBF would beat Pac if they were to fight. Even if Pac beats Ricky, I would still favor PBF.

****ing awesome mate. Its just sad that he's not getting the right opponents to build up his legacy. Truly unlucky if you ask me. Montiel would've been career-defining IMO and wouldve greatly improved his resume. Such a shame the fight didn't happen.

But yeah, I'm a big fan of Nonito. He's my favorite fighter after Pac and JMM. He has speed and power to go along with his top notch counter-punching. Not to mention that he's a rare fighter in the sense that he can switch-hit on the fly pretty effectively. Smart, smart fighter.

 

Hell yeah. Even seeing him fighting a good defensive fighter in Mthalane, he's great.

 

If hatton backs pac up he will win.

 

Hmm. He was but to be honest I thought Mthalane got to him more than he should've. I don't know. I thought Donaire was a bit sluggish and didn't utilize his great movement much in that fight. Mthalane's right was hitting Nonito too much for my tastes. There were even times where he didn't know what to do after getting hit by it. Maybe the rustyness affected him or maybe I'm just underestimating Mthalane, who knows. It was a good win but he didn't impressed me that much.

The only thing that he impressed me with was when he turned to southpaw in the 5th/6th round to neutralize Mthalane's right hand. He knew that he was getting hit by that right too much throughout the fight. So he turned to southpaw to confuse Mthalane and disrupt his angles somewhat, and next thing you know Mthalane started missing and missing(while Donaire kept connecting) until the fight was stopped. It was amazing. It really showed his adaptability and ring smarts IMO.

 

That's a fair assumption. If Hatton isn't deterred by Pac's punches at all and starts backing Pac up, then Pac's in for a long long night(or maybe short).
