To say that Kelly Pavlik is a tomato can or is a bum is a real lack of boxing knowledge. The man is still young. Still the champion and will continue on for years God willing. Time will tell if he's one of the best or overhyped. I believe he will be a future HOF.

Yeah, LandShark I must be way off on my prediction. I mean what am I thinking. He's 26yrs old and is only 34-1 with 30 kos' with Taylor on there twice and Edison Miranda too also forgot to mention Bronco McKart who was a former jr middleweight champion. I almost forgot he's been a WBO and WBC champion since 2007. His only loss was to a future HOF. Your entitled to your opinion and so am I and yeah you are right if he died today or in the near future he more and likely wouldn't make it. With that being said I doubt he will bite it and I believe he will reighn at middleweight for several more years.

Overrated yes but a tomato can definitely not. What I admire most in a fighter is heart and the willl to win, Pavlik clearly has both of these qualities in abundance.

What did he say? I watched it in the pub so couldn't hear his post fight pep talk very well. I think the jist of it though was that he rated him pretty highly.

I cant remember word for word but it was something like

"yeah, you fight like a brother, and I mean that. You fight like a black dude, you did yourself proud" or something :rofl

and then tells him to dominate for the next 10 years as hes capable :good

Fair play, if Hopkins thinks he's capable of achieving great things who are we to argue.

Edison Miranda is a joke, as an aa fan, I do not rate him highly. Why would a win over a FORMER jr middleweight champion be considered special. Like I always mention in these forums, J Taylor is debated as one of the most overrated middleweights of ALL time, TOO many questionable decisions went his way. Solid win, ABSOLUTELY, a win to initialize your way to the HOF? Not even in your wildest dreams. :deal
    :hey
