Just thought I'd share a few pictures (especially with the members who remember me from before) from when I went to the Hopkins v Pavlik fight in October. The pictures aren't the clearest because I took them from my phone but you get the idea. I also recorded his post fight speech.

Yes, you could see it on the four panel screen above the ring. I must say though, the arena is more intimate than you may think. Me and my friend by no means spent much on the tickets and were pleasantly surprised when we walked out and saw our view.

Nice pics, must have been great being there for that one.

I had Hopkins at 4/1 for that fight, made myself a nice few quid.

Wow. I wish I'd been there to witness such a great performance from a legend of the sport- especially with a view like that!

    What was Atlantic City like?

I was only there for the day and night of the fight but it struck me as an odd place to be honest. It was full of old people who come to play the casinos of a weekend. I'm not a gambling man so that didn't appeal.

My feet barely touched the ground the whole weekend! I flew out to JFK on the Friday and did a night in New York. Then the next day we got the coach down to Atlantic City, then the day after the fight we were back in NY for the day then flew back on the Monday.

I'm looking to go back in March but I really want to coincide it with another B-Hop fight so I'm just waiting to see what gets announced. I'll stay for longer next time though, so much I didn't get to see. The undercard of that fight was superb also, highly entertaining.
