I got "completely owned" by FW? Because he kept saying the same things that he had been saying since day one anyways? FW was OWNED from the very beginning by running his mouth about Wlad not having the balls to fight Haye, ect... for months. He couldn't exactly change his tune as soon as some inside info was passed around, could he? I have admitted that I didn't realize he had the info before he replied in my thread, because unlike you guys... I have no problem admitting when I am wrong. However... how does that change the fact that he had already been saying the same things that he said in that thread for months before that?:huh It isn't as if FW really just said those things to "own" me somehow in reverse. He may have kept toying with his posts after being informed that Wlad was most likely going to fight Haye next.... so? He was only continuing with what he was previously saying. The only thing that I ADMIT about being wrong about was that by the time I actually submitted my thread, FW had also been informed that Wlad was most likely going to fight Haye in the summer. Which, there was STILL info that he may try to fight Arreola first... and BTW, the Wlad vs Haye fight STILL isn't even final. Wlad has said recently that if the Haye fight falls apart, he will be fighting Arreola on May 16 in LA.
I've seen this video a few times & I'm not impressed. In fact every time I see it I'm a little bit more convinced that Wladimir KO's this hype job. :good
Well, I was impressed that Haye dusted the second best guy in the country in less than two rounds. Especially when he had to kill himself to make weight. I was trying to highlight his speed which is evident in this fight. However, to call a man who was the best in his division, and a man who has jumped up to face the best at heavyweight a hype job, is tad unfair. :deal If he is as a "hype job", Wlad should have no trouble getting rid of him now should he?? :think
Radar... I was 20 years old when Lewis beat Holyfield... and I was WELL into the sport. You don't have to be 60 years old like yourself to know what happened in the 90's. I was in high school in the 90's for ****'s sake. I have been following this sport HEAVILY since I was a kid. My household had every PPV ordered, and every big fight was ALWAYS watched. My step-dad watched ALL of the big fights through the 80's as I was growing up as a small child and I watched them with him. In the 90's he still watched the fight, and I had a brother 8 years old who was a HUGE Lewis fan, and never missed a fight of his... and had them all recorded. I watched Lewis his ENTIRE career. I never said that Lewis had "no real standing". Where you do get the **** that you talk from? I said that he was NOT the recognized champ. He sure as hell wasn't, and you know it.
Haye can beat Klitschko with his speed and movements ... but I don't see him getting past Wladimir's jab ... and even if he does, then he has to worry about that right hand ... and because he keeps his jab hand so low and doesn't fight on the inside .... I see him being a moving target for Klitshcko. Klitschko TKO 5
Can't believe that Pac and Klitschko are odds on heavy favourites in each one of their fights. The bookies may be running for cover. They also got Amir Khan as favourite
I'll guess we'll just have to see how quick Wlad is able to do the job then......because if he labours to victory over a hype job.......
The funny thing is, the posters who think Wlad will destroy Haye will be singing Haye's praises if Wlad wins; equally, those who are saying that Wlad's chin is glass would raise their opinion of Wlad's durability if Haye stops/KOs him. I've seen the same thing hundreds of times on here, especially where heavyweights are concerned.
Wishful thinking says Haye, fast hands, power and an aggressive don't-give-a-**** fighting style has always been the recipe to beat Wlad. However, I think that it's more likely that Wlad stops Haye before Haye stops Wlad, just due tot he size and experience difference. Either guy could win, and I expect it to be a war because Haye WILL force Wlad to fight out of his comfort zone.
Nah, Wlad will take his time as he always does. The more aggressive Haye is the faster he'll get KO'd. :deal
