Keep it up. Getting sessions in will bring it back that much quicker. And you'll probably be good to go by May.

29/1 Thursday night: Trained Muay Thai at Cobra Gym.

    Warm up..Skipping,running,kicking.
    Shadow boxing
    Grappling
    Worked Muay Thai Pads
    Sparring..OUCH!!!!!

So in sparring, in my second round i thought id take on my trainer, i have my best and hardest spars with him. SO he was chattin to a student and taking up our 3 min spar, so i said hurry up, forget your shin pads, lets just fight! anyway, i was doin really well, checking his kicks and keeping my hands to stop a few head kicks. so then he throws a leg kick and i check it, but his shin hit my knee in the funny bone spot and i hit the deck!!! **** it hurt, so i walked it off after 5 mins and iced for the rest of the night.

Im doin a 27km mountain walk tomorrow, im sure the knee will be a little sore but ill get over it.

Did the huge walk on Sat, it took 9 1/2 hours. So i didnt train the day before the walk, and have rested until now.

Knees and calves are sore, but feel good enough to train tonight.

That's why I hate kicks, my brittle knees would not survive.

They can be hardened like anything else. And in a fight you dont feel the skin and knee clash pain until its over.

Not my knees mate, they're damaged goods. I actually faint when I hurt my knees badly, my brain just shuts down. Last time I hurt my knee I lost consciousness three times in a row and had to get a cut glued at the hospital because I fell on a sharp edge :!:

It's not that it hurts that bad, I just get nauseous and the lights go out.

5/2 Thursday night: Trained Muay Thai at Cobra Gym.

Turned up early for a good warm up, hit the floor to ceiling ball and was really happy with my speed and timing. I havent used it much but i think i will from now on. I like to punch a lot in my warm up but when on the pads, i like to train my kicks and knees as much as i can.

Not a bad training session, worked on jams, need to keep my chin down.

Kicked the pads good, starting to feel fitter and getting to go longer and harder now.

    8/2 Sunday:

A mate and myself went for a 2h walk that went through a few school, so we did some chin and push-ups, we ran up ever hill we came too. It was a good cardio train with some body weight lifting.

10/2 :Trained Muay Thai at Cobra Gym

    Warm up
Practised the move jab jab jab then follow with the lead elbow, its a hard movement. I can see it working off a lazy jab but not a strong jab.
Had a good knee clash that hurts to walk on today.
Had a spar with one of the better guys.... I beat him pretty well with kicks but i got tagged with a big punch which pissed me off because i didnt fire back after being hit.. stood still like a ****in pansy.

How many times a week do you train on average? Do you run on non-gym days?
